Comment : I absolutely love Yates Automotive. Ive been a repeat costumers for years. Their costumer services is incredible. My favorite mechanic is Joe. He's attentive and great at his job. I really appreciate how timely and observant the whole staff is. I high recommend this establishment!

Comment : Not a good experience. They failed my inspection due to a supposed brake light issue. Two subsequent inspectors said the light was fine. A big waste of my time for their incompetence.

Comment : I had my safety and emissions both done this past week. It was very speedy and well done! They took the extra time to walk me through what to do with the proof for Virginia DMV, as I am not from the area! I wil definitely be switching to them for all future maintenance of my vehicle.

Comment : This is the place to go if you want to pay 3x the fair cost of service. Yates quoted me $160 to change a cabin air filter???They???ve tried to up charge me on some unnecessary work every time I???ve been there. Their labor costs are apparently higher than billing rates for corporate attorneys. Anyone not knowing better would be scammed by the these people. I can???t imagine how much money they???ve taken from people who don???t know enough about carsThis is the place to go if you want to pay 3x the fair cost of service. Comment : Their team is awesome, prices are competitive, work gets done right, and they had my vehicle back to me quickly. Last time in, I had new/bigger tires installed that required spacers to properly fit ??? ordered all the parts myself and they were fine with me shipping that stuff directly to the shop. The job was a little complicated and they talked me through options, gave me good advice, etc. I definitely recommend Yates.Their team is awesome, prices are competitive, work gets done right, and they had my vehicle back to me quickly. Comment : Shout out to Yates Automotive & their amazing staff. Yesterday, on way to church my warning light came on my that my back rear tire was very low, so headed to Yates Automotive. Embarrassed to say I wasn???t sure how much air was needed and how to check it so went in and a very, very nice, professional young man named John said he would be happy to put air in my tires. When I told him it was only the rear tire that the light had indicated, he insisted on checking all four and, this photo shows what he found in my front tire. So thankful he found that before who knows what could???ve happened. That???s the kind of personal attention and service Yates has been giving my family for over 50 years. Besides outstanding service, they are also one of the most generous and supportive businesses to our community & to so many non-profits. Comment : This is an update from a bad review I wrote last week. Joey was very upset regarding the lack of customer service I had regarding my car. He was so apologetic and embarrassed for what happened. Now this shows stellar customer service on his part. He was relentless in trying to make things right by continuously reaching out to me to better understand my experience. On top of that, he made me whole again by negotiating an adjusted rate for my troubles. Kudos to Joey.
