Comment : I had a flat tire on my new Mercedes AMG GLB 35 this past Saturday and initially took it to Pep Boys and Mavis Tire Discount Store. Both places said they couldn’t repair the tire and insisted on replacing it with a new one, which felt unnecessary because tire is in great condition.

Then I called West Side Tire & Automotive, and although they were about to close, they agreed to inspect my tire. I stopped by, and within 20 minutes, they had it repaired perfectly. Unfortunately, the Mercedes hub cap fell off and got scratched after the repair.

We are all human and accidental damage can happen, but I’m truly impressed that the West Side Tire & Automotive team took full responsibility and accountability for the damage. They fixed it promptly without any delay.

The staff, especially the lady at reception and the technician, were very kind and professional from start to finish. On Monday, I returned and spoke with the owner, Gino Sr., who was incredibly helpful. He personally inspected the tire and approved a replacement hub cap. The receptionist coordinated quickly with the Mercedes dealership to get the original part, and later that day, Gino Jr. replaced it flawlessly.

This experience taught me to always support local, small businesses rather than large chains like Pep Boys or Mavis, who seemed more focused on pushing expensive replacements instead of offering a fair repair.

I am truly impressed with the exceptional customer service from the entire West Side Tire & Automotive team — the receptionist, the technicians, Gino Sr., and Gino Jr. I will definitely be returning for any future vehicle needs and highly recommend them to everyone in my network!

Comment : I wish I could give this place 0 stars. 2 weeks ago I brought my sisters car to get her tires replaced and they scratched EVERY. SINGLE. RIM. It was evident that it was them because it was in the same spot on each tire. I approached them that day about it and they said to come back Monday to speak with the owner so I did just that. The owner was horrible rude and had absolutely no decency even to the point where we checked the security cameras and WATCHED their machines mess up my sisters rims he still gave me a hard time. At the end since I no longer trusted them we agreed on a refund instead of them fixing it. TODAY I SEE THEY PULLED THE REFUND FROM MY ACCOUNT! What a shady, dishonest business!!! You do a bad job, then you go ahead and back out out of your word. Horrible management, horrible work, dishonest owner. I would NEVER recommend anyone going there!!!!
