Comment : I was recently referred to West Oceanside Automotive Group by AAA for what I thought was a warranty issue with my AAA battery. It turned out AAA had sent me to the wrong place, as West doesn’t even stock AAA batteries. Many shops would have simply turned me away, but the team at West handled my situation with professionalism and genuine helpfulness.

In particular, Josh Fife, Manager/Service Consultant, went above and beyond. Instead of brushing me off, he had my battery charged overnight, tested it thoroughly, and determined it was perfectly fine. That level of care and integrity is rare these days.

I’ve been a AAA Plus customer for nearly 20 years, and while AAA service is usually an “A” I’d give West Automotive Group an “A+.” Their handling of my case speaks volumes about the kind of service they provide: respectful, thorough, and customer‑first, even when the issue wasn’t theirs to solve.

They will absolutely be at the top of my list whenever I have an automotive need they actually DO service. As the saying goes, you can tell a lot about people by how they treat those who come to them in less‑than‑ideal circumstances. Josh Fife and the West Oceanside Automotive Group team proved they are the kind of professionals you can trust — the kind you don’t often find anymore.

Comment : Everyone was very nice to deal with and since my 20 year old Rav4 needed a new transmission, explained the situation well to me. They even delivered my car to my home upon completion of the job, which I was not expecting! My Rav4 is running great and any more repairs it will need, I will be going to West Oceanside Automotive!

Comment : I wouldn’t take my car any place else for transmission problems. They repaired my son’s transmission a few years ago and that experience is why they were the first ones I thought of when my Chevy Blazer started acting up. I was expecting bad news but instead they got me back on the road in one day. Highly recommend them.
