Comment : Service department has a bad attitude and tried to tell me I’m wrong and that cleaning the Haldex pump filter was gonna mess something up and that their “30yr tech” said he’s never done that and that’s not something they do. I asked that as a paying customer would that be something they would do for my peace of mind the answer is no. Do not bring your car here, ridiculous. (2017 golf r)

Comment : Pretty typical dealer experience when going for service. Main tech on the floor treats you like an inconvenience. Only good thing was the very nice women working the phones at the service center. EA888 Gen 3 motors do not have life time timing chains... To the women working the service desk thank you for excellent communication skills and treating folks they are not wasting your time.

Comment : From setting up a convenient time to come in and test drive what I was interested in, to my sales person Ian answering all my questions and not feeling pressured into buying or rushed, and the negotiation process, they made it all smooth! Looking forward to coming in for any services needed to a place where the employees seem to enjoy what they do.

I chose to leave my full review visible as a testament to how this experience started as a 1-star situation, but through collaborative and honest communication on both sides, we were able to find common ground and reach a positive resolution.

Update 1 of 2: I spoke with someone from General Sales. They weren’t able to provide clarity and seemed contradictory or unknowing in some aspects of the Service department’s procedures. Parts of our conversation raised additional concerns—particularly regarding repairs listed in service's report that appear to have not been completed. Based on my experience and the poor follow-up, I would not buy used here in the future.

First Review: Not the type to leave a bad review, but honestly a terrible experience. I purchased a used vehicle and they held it for a week for service and detailing which is okay.

What's not okay is they cleared a torque converter code and slapped inspection stickers on it and now I'm having to pay for that repair three weeks out of purchase (that I noticed and reported a week out of purchase).

They also took off my vehicle's $350 Cooper Tires and replaced them with cheap Wal-Mart ones. I had my mechanic with me during the test drive and there was nothing visibly wrong with the tires and the torque converter issue was hidden by the fact that the vehicle had to be run for more than a quick loop to start acting up.

I get there's no lemon law rules for used vehicles, so the repair is on me, but not even offering to take a look without charging me and taking perfectly good tires off to replace for cheap ones?'>

Comment : Final Update (2 of 2): I was able to speak with the store's GM, Neil, and he took a serious approach to this by having service take a look into the matter and working with me. To their combined credit, we have been able to reach a fair and respectful resolution that demonstrates a willingness to stand behind their sales and do right by the customer. I sincerely appreciate Neil and the dealership's ultimate willingness to work with me in good faith, and I'm satisfied with how things were handled in the end.

Comment : Absolutely terrible experience. I entered with the idea of looking at a car to potentially purchase. No salesman around, went to the desk and asked the advisor. He said all his salesmen were taken but he let them know. 30 minutes later. Nothing still standing around. No one came out to explain anything at all. Also it was 100? in the building inside. Obviously their air conditioner is broken. Needless to say I won't be shopping for a vehicle here. I'll take my business elsewhere.
