Comment : Great customer service and mechanical service in a timely fashion. I called on a Tuesday and had my vehicle fixed by Thursday. Upon completion of diagnostics the mechanics brought me underneath my vehicle to show me their findings and explain them. I was then given the opportunity to pick and choose what I would like to repair / replace.

My only complaints are they were very pushy for immediate payment and seemingly were trying to get me to purchase and replace many additional parts, which would be beneficial to replace but it was the way they didn't give me an inch of space to speak when it came time to select the things I would like repaired on my vehicle. Don't get me wrong I'm glad they did a full inspection so I'm aware of other things to fix in the future and I would return to this same VIP get them fixed

Comment : This was our first time getting our car inspected in Maine. We were so impressed with how nice and informative they were. It was super fast as well. We will be going back for an oil change soon.

Comment : VIP is great! They got me in quickly and finished the job in record time!!!! I have never been so happy with the results and service on a big car repair. They worked hard and won my business for life!!! I will be happy to refer anyone I know to them for their car repairs! I'll definitely be returning for my future car repairs.

Comment : Was in for state inspection. They failed it for rear brakes again after they replaced in April 2023. They passed in 2024. Seriously? Said the pads weren't contacting with the rotors because of rust. Literally, 2 year 39 days. Garaged mostly in the winter and only driven 5,000 miles from the 2024 inspection. Said it was over the 2 yr warranty by 39 days and not a manufactured defect. Right. No willingness to help with the cost and my question - why didn't they "see it" when i was in there for my oil change in January 2025 when they did a multipoint inspection, too??? Should have seen it then when it was well below the two years! Beware. They look for issues that they can get you on to cost you big bucks because they've handcuffed you in to getting it fixed. Never going back! Very disappointed and definitely taken for a ride!! Shame on you VIP..

Comment : My husband and I were visiting Bangor Maine from Sanford Maine, and our car broke down and we had it towed to VIP in Bangor and we received excellent service and the technicians were kind and very knowledgeable and they got our car fixed very quickly and we were able to get back on the road I would definitely recommend Bangor VIP.
