Comment : They caught a major problem during a state inspection, and quoted me a price on par with what the dealership ultimately charged to fix it. That dealership then caught a broken leaf spring that VIP missed earlier the same week, which spring I had verified as broken and replaced by a third place (I rarely let a place that finds an unexpected problem on a state inspection, also do the repair work—too much conflict of interest). Here’s where VIP shined though: they got me in “first thing” after the repairs to verify the repairs and perform a final state inspection for a very nice price, and was able to do that work very much last minute to get me legally on the road for a trip I couldn’t delay. I really appreciated that! So minus a few stars for missing a broken leaf spring, and plus a few stars back for excellent customer service and really helping me wrap up my state inspection saga in a pinch! Thanks guys!
