Comment : I had an excellent experience at VA Autocare and understand why they come so highly recommended. This family-owned shop genuinely cares about their customers and takes pride in their work. Comment : Dishonest and crooked. Kept my car for days just for a diagnostic. Alex, the owner said I needed a new engine but wouldn't provide the proof. Made me pay over $100 and never received the results of the diagnosis. Took it to a Chevy dealership for second opinion and turns out my car only had a leak and needed a hose replaced.

Comment : Unfortunately Alex is a dishonest mechanic. He utilizes deceptive practices like overcharging for parts. He claims to get the parts directly from the manufacture to justify the price. He charged me $350 for a fuel injection fuel feed pipe from the "manufacturer". When I asked for proof that the piece came from the manufacturer he got all offended and mad. He refused to show any proof and also refused to return my vehicle. I had to call the police to get it back. I understand that there is going to be a little bit mark up for chasing the part, but that is outrageous. This guy is not looking up for his clients.
