Comment : They installed a faulty power steering system. I had to have AAA tow my car back to their shop. They corrected the issue at no extra cost. The power steering is working fine now. Very friendly team.

Comment : First and foremost - United Automotive has always been good to me and has let me know when I didn't need to get something fix - unfortunately this time was not the case. I want to be clear I think this was a mistake and they deserve forgiveness, but I still lost over 500 dollars for no reason. I am not very knowledgeable about cars, and they have always been good to explain things to me. In the past I had my radiator replaced and thanks to them also learned that my engine heat gauge is broken - I just cannot afford to fix it. I recently experienced overheating issues again and brought the car in to them again, I also told them I have not had my AC working for a while and the gauge starting going off the charts around that same time. When they call in they told me the same thing they told me before - my engine heat gauge is broken and they could fix it (again, for an amount I can't afford - if I couldn't afford it before, I certainly can't afford it now). At which point I learned that it would cost me 500 dollars to get refrigerant to fix my AC (because they opened the car up to look for overheating issues - but nothing has changed and the time that I have had my new radiator would not constitute a fix). I have gone to these guys for years, almost everything done to my car has been done by them. They have nearly the entire history of changes made to this car since I have owned it. Personally I believe I am due a complete refund, its their job to understand their customers needs, and although I think it was a mistake, it was major oversight that costed me, what I consider, a very large amount of money. My mother is gentrified into the desert, I can't even afford to live on my own, this is a major oversight and should not happen to customers at all - ever.
