Comment : We took our 2021 Tahoe for a torque converter going out, which we have an extended warranty and it is covered. HOWEVER this process should’ve taken no more than a week to get with the warranty, have an inspection, the get the work done. We were out of a vehicle for over 3 weeks. They DO NOT COMMUNICATE ANYTHING ABOUT YOUR VEHICLE TO YOU WHAT SO EVER. When the replacement work was starting (of course you have to pull the transmission out for this) THEY broke the the transmission case, and decided not to tell us UNTIL we called to see how things were going. This goes on and on FOR DAYS. Between speaking with Jared, Andrea and Jennifer they continuously kept denying the tech had any fault in the breaking of the transmission housing, however they stated THEY WOULD COVER IT AND NOT MAKE US PAY ANYTHING(I have all conversations recorded, in case anyone wants to hear), however they decided to go ahead and try pinning this not only on the dowel pin, but also a bolt seized and when the technician was wiggling it, it broke. After speaking with MULTIPLE SHOPS AND MASTER TECHNICIANS, this would only happen if it was pried beyond the breaking point, negligence of leaving a bolt in, or just pure negligence. then after 3 weeks of battling and begging for just pure honesty and having a clear line of communication they still do not care to call and give updates( I AM AWARE A DAILY UPDATE IS NOT NECESSARY, BUT AT LEAST LETTING US KNOW WHAT WARRANTY HAS SAID, DONE AND STEPS MOVING FORWARD), they were never given unless WE CALLED begging and pleading to get information, and even then it was oh let me ask this person, oh I’m not sure I need to ask another person. So on August 13, on the 4th phone call of trying to figure out what is next steps for our vehicle in the repair process Jennifer states “I am trying to contact the warranty company again to see if we can get this covered so you guys don’t have to come out of pocket because I just don’t believe my tech did this”. I immediately stated previous conversations are recorded and what Jennifer, Jared and Andrea all stated was, “regardless of what the warranty company approves or declines we will get started on your vehicle, and you won’t have to pay for it.” She tried denying and denying and it wasn’t until I stated I have every conversation recorded and this is what you said, she finally backed off. Said she was going to try calling “their warranty rep” to beg and plead to get this covered so they don’t have to pay for their mistakes. After that being denied the ONE TIME SHE CALLED, said “we are going to start the repairs on your vehicle.” I just want to make everyone aware of the total negligence and irresponsible behavior trying to lie and lie, trying to change their statements multiple times, that you should never, and I mean NEVER bring your vehicle here for any kind of repair whatsoever if you care about your vehicle. Then on 8/15, calls after their “transmission technician” that they constantly try to upscale, test drives my car for 1 mile and says there’s a noise, mind you recording after recording I have where she only stated that the torque converter needed to be changed and that there was a slight whine in the rear end that needs a “fluid change” was all the sound they heard and now it’s making a massive noise that he couldn’t even drive it 2 miles. Once again proving irresponsibly how they treat vehicles in repairing them. Then got mad when I said at this point I’m contacting my lawyer for multiple reasons, that she will cease all repairs on my vehicle, that’s retaliation. Now on 8/18 we get a call stating that something else is wrong with the transmission and once again has to be broken down, with little to no explanation of what is wrong or what happened. Come to find out they broke an internal piece, and I’m in shock they finally took some responsibility and admitted this time that it was their fault and they are going to take responsibility. So now on 8/19 they call and go oh well the wrong part came in, at 2 something in the afternoon. Once again delays after delays.
