Comment : Absolutely frustrating experience with this company! We bought a 2011 Mazda 3 in December 2024 and took it in for an oil change in June 2025. By early December, the car started losing heat. When I looked under the hood, I found the coolant hose jammed under the air filter and kinked at the back of the coolant flange, as you can see in the attached pictures. I reached out to Town Hill and they had me send those same pictures. The next day, they called back and told me to bring the car in for repairs—not that day, but three days later. I took time off work and brought it in, only to be told that the hose wasn’t leaking; it was the plastic outlet that the hose connects to. They claimed it was just a coincidence and insisted they hadn’t caused the issue. I was upset and made it clear this wasn’t our fault.

After some back-and-forth, they finally returned the car to me. When I got home and showed my wife what they said, I opened the hood to find the hose still pushed under the air filter, still kinked, but now there was antifreeze all over the engine—pictures 4, 5, and 6 show the mess. I called the general manager, who argued that there was no proof the hose wasn’t like that when we bought the car. The rudeness from him and his service manager added to my frustration.

They proposed a 50/50 split on the repair costs, thinking it was a fair solution. But that’s exactly what our warranty covers—50/50. This wasn’t them taking responsibility; it was just them offering our normal warranty terms. I told them I expected them to accept some accountability, suggesting a 75/25 split would be fair. The GM wouldn’t even consider it. Instead, he suggested I call my attorney and ended the call. Moments later, he called my wife, trying to convince her to accept the “deal” of 50/50 like he was doing us a favor. When I explained to her that it was just our warranty, he claimed he had to rush off the phone because the shop was closing and sounded irritated by our conversation. He even hung up just to call her back and try to stir up an argument between us, as she thought he was offering a good deal. If that’s not slimy behavior, I don’t know what is!

Comment : I must say I'm somewhat confused by the interaction that I had with this business. I recently broke down and required a new tire as mine was completely destroyed, this information was relayed to my AAA agent upon my request for service and this business was the first recommended for quick tire service. I attempted to call twice before being towed there just to confirm this information but was unable to get a hold of anyone, though AAA assured me, as well as the company website, that they in fact install tires. Upon arrival there with my tow truck driver they simply told me and I quote, "they do not do tires." ? I was a bit confused because the exchange was brief, and with no other information offered or recommendation / referral anywhere else (I am not a local person but someone just traveling through). I was just told that I should grab my driver to make sure he doesn't unload my car and I need to go elsewhere- which thankfully I did. I'm not sure if this was just a communication breakdown or poor customer service, but I was not super pleased with the lack of interest or explanation when I was already experiencing a stressful day and event.

Comment : A little over a month ago I purchased my second vehicle from Town Hill Auto Sales. My first purchase was several years ago. And a little over a month ago I purchased a 2014 Chevy Impala. I am extremely pleased with my new vehicle and Town Hill Auto Sales. I strongly recommend Town Hill Auto Sales!!!

Comment : Everyone that I've encountered at Town Hill Auto is very pleasant and accommodating. I broke down on the highway and AAA towed me here, I decided to not go through with engine diagnostics and called AAA to tow me out the next day. Despite my decision to not have my car looked at, the mechanics and office staff all checked on me while I waited for my tow. I may take a trip back here if I decide to get a used vehicle just because of how genuinely caring the staff was to me even though I was not technically a customer. Thank you again to the staff. It was a breath of fresh air during a really difficult time.

Comment : Service was completed in a timely manner and Scott has worked with my wife and I on multiple vehicles. No matter the issue we’ve always had wheels and there’s always a solution. We have three cars through town hill and I would recommend them to anyone.
