Comment : Ahern Painting has been using Tony's Auto for years as our go-to mechanic shop for all of our company vehicles. We know when we need a vehicle serviced, they will do the job right the first time, every time. They make a concerted effort to communicate the diagnosis of the issue, the time it will be in service and the potential costs of the repair. They are masters of their trade. Comment : I had some work done a few years ago( timing belt and water pump replacement). I thought that it was a bit expensive. I know that the job is labor intensive, I also, was not given my AAA discount, or even asked about membership, The work was excellently done, My neighbor now owns the vehicle, and seems to be happy with it. I intend to bring my current vehicle in very soon............Thanks

Comment : I have mixed feelings about this place. The front-of-house employee is extremely kind, thorough, and attentive. He is a great listener, and takes detailed notes about your case, asking questions when appropriate. On both occasions that I have gone to Tony's, that man has been nothing but a sheer pleasure, and a sign that I'm working with good people.

My major concern is with this place's level of timeliness and communication. Both times that I have entrusted them with my car, Tony's has taken an overwhelming amount of time to even look at the car. As of today, I have gone 7 days without my car, and I haven't received any communication from Tony's. This feels extremely unreasonable.

I recognize that they're busy, but I don't feel the company should accept more business if they are backed-up. I'm conflicted. They seem like such good people. The pricing is fair, and I can't get past how wonderful that man is at the front-of-house. I trust them with my car, and not to take advantage of me, but the amount of time taken to even glance at the car is disturbing to me. Livelihoods of families depend on their cars running, for work needs, for groceries.. Tony's is really gambling with my livelihood right now. Or I am, for choosing them.

Comment : These guys are number 1 great mechanics with years & years of experience, excellent workmanship & they always stand behind their work. Their prices are better than fair & they won't try to sell you something that you don't need. I got an alternater replaced a few weeks ago and their price was$300
less than Pep Boys quoted me. I've known these people for years.
They are good.
