Comment : I have to edit my review unfortunately, since this time it's a bit too much. Yes, the place still does convenient hours and drop off / pick up times. However, regarding "not overcharging you"...I recently brought my newly purchased Hyundai Veracruz to them and among other things, asked to make sure it's ready for state inspection. Besides fluids change (which I asked them to do), they also said that my parking brake "doesn't hold very well" (so I thought it's working, just maybe needs a minor adjustment) and recommended FULL rear brake system replacement for over $1000 including rotors, pads, parking brake shoes and even calipers. I declined this for the moment and decided to take a look myself at home, since I'm a tech myself. When I was leaving, I again asked if they checked the car and they assured me they did a "full safety inspection", so I said I would try to get it inspected right after I pick it up.Long story short, guess what, when I paid their invoice and brought my car to the state inspection, it failed for the parking brake. I wish I remembered to check it before leaving, but I didn't have a lot of time and had a child with me, and they didn't remind me or say anything at all at that time. As it turned out, it wasn't just "holding not well", it almost wasn't working at all, you could barely feel it. When I came home, I inspected the rear brakes on one (left) side, since I had easy access, but it was getting very cold outside. The caliper is working and pads and rotors look like they have been recently replaced. There is no need to change them at all. Yes, the parking brake needs servicing, but most likely it just needs new brake shoes (which I already ordered since these looked worn), cleaning of the whole system and its proper adjustment. Frankly speaking, such a parking brake system looks barely adequate for a heavy 7-seater SUV like Veracruz, but this goes outside the scope of this review. As a bottom line, this was a bitter disappointment for me. Under the old management they were better. This situation raises a lot of questions. First, why did someone recommend a replacement for over $1000 which wasn't needed at all? Second, why didn't they tell me in exact terms "your parking brake is completely inoperative"? I was under the impression that it does hold, but maybe not perfectly, like it needs a small adjustment. And finally, I mentioned it several times (including when I was picking it up) that I want to prepare the car for inspection and asked to make sure it would pass. So how is it possible that they said everything looks fine and no one told me "stop, if you leave now and try to get it inspected, it will fail for parking brake"? I can't believe they don't know what is tested during inspection. If I was aware that the parking brake doesn't hold at all, I would probably not waste my time and money trying to get it inspected.Sorry for a long review, but had to explain why I gave this rating. I will be looking for another AAA certified local repair shop meanwhile, most likely.I have to edit my review unfortunately, since this time it's a bit too much.
