The staff was professional, friendly, and made sure everything went smoothly. The waiting area was comfortable, and there are plenty of parks and trails nearby along the Souhegan River, so I was able to get out and enjoy while my car was being worked on.Overall, I highly recommend this place. Great service and a nice area to explore while you wait. At this point they still couldn't provide me accuratepricing or time frame of completion. On 4/8/25 I was informed the steering stabilizers were incorrect, at this point I told them to forget about them I'll take care of it myself.4/9/2025 I was informed truck was complete. I picked up the truck drove 10 miles to find my tires rubbing the shocks that were just installed, I called left a message and dropped it back off. Management then proceeded to blame my tires and do everything possible to not rectify the situation. My wife actually had to call FOX and conference call the specialist to get answers, after 3 days of management claiming they couldn't get a hold of them. On 5/14/25 my truck was finally complete minus the work they could NOT perform. Total was $4277.00.I had all of the parts at my home waiting to be installed, after further inspection they misdiagnosed my truck from the beginning. The leak is not related to the ccv at all, my injector return line has a crack in the elbow which is a pretty significant leak and simple diagnosis (visual).This is an honest account of my experience working with this business. Throughout the weeks of headaches, I made several attempts to reach out to Karen and John Manelas the listed owners of The Specialist aka Autocare Plus with no response. I assume they are too busy posting pod cast to care about customer concerns. Management has refused any responsibility or explanation. The continued response was all delays were either due to vendors, shipping, availability or my fault. I had requested my truck to be inspected to be sure nothing is missed, I explained specific services based off the age and mileage of the truck.I asked for an oil change, fuel filters, rear brakes, front and rear shocks, steering stabilizers replaced, tires leaking and whatever else they might find.Diagnosis was, shocks front and rear, oil change, complete rear brakes, windshield nozzle, Tires too large for them too service and ccv filter plugged and causing leak. But what really blew me away was what happened next—they came to my place of work to pick up my Jeep and even left me a loaner car at no charge. Who does that anymore?! It made everything so easy and stress-free, and I didn’t have to miss a beat in my day. This kind of service is rare and speaks volumes about how much they value their customers.
