Comment : Used the towing services of the Shop on 28 today, as the original tow driver refused a roadside assistance call because he "doesn't come to Grove unless it costs, at least, $200". So, on a second attempt, a driver from Shop on 28, Michael R. (can't spell his last name), arrived in a timely manner, kept me notified every step of the way, was kind and answered questions, and informative. He did the work quickly and efficiently, and was a Godsend for a guy who was standing in the cold after his car broke down. Can't say how appreciative I am for Michael and the work he did, even with what I assume was already a full day's work ahead of him. Comment : I got a flat tire on my way home. There was an awesome man that stopped to help me! I believe his name was Michael. He didn t have to stop but he did. He plugged my tire and checked the air in my other tires. Seriously went above and beyond to help me on his own time. You don t find very many people like that anymore. Comment : I was in a bad spot last night and desperately needed a tow. Tossed my fishing pole in for a couple of cast before dark and the car would not start. I tried to use State Farm roadside service, but they were useless. I called the Shop on 28 around 10:30pm. I had been stranded for a couple of hours in a thunderstorm at this point. The dispatcher on call was very friendly and seemed genuinely concerned with my situation. She even offered to pick me up and drop me off at my house. I declined because it would not be safe for a lady to pick up a stranger in the middle of the country! Keep yourself safe! I left my keys in the vehicle and got a ride home from some family members. The tow truck driver picked my car up and dropped off the vehicle at house around 11:45pm. He was very friendly and professional. I never leave reviews but felt compelled to leave one for them. Thank you for you help! If I could leave more than five stars I would. If you need a tow, I recommend you call The Shop on 28!
