Comment : This used to be a great place, and we had good experiences with them in the past. Unfortunately, after some changes, the level of service seems to have gone downhill drastically.

We recently called because the check engine light came back on after a repair they had previously performed and charged us thousands of dollars for. When we called, we were told they wanted to warranty the work and asked us to bring the vehicle back in.

A couple of days later, we unexpectedly received a quote for more than $2,000. What was especially frustrating was that the repair they were quoting us for was the SAME issue they had already diagnosed, repaired, and charged us thousands of dollars to fix previously. In other words, we brought the vehicle back because we were told they wanted to warranty their previous repair, only to then be quoted thousands of dollars to fix the same problem again.

When I declined the repair, I was then told we owed approximately $350 for the diagnostic. That came as another surprise. We brought the vehicle in specifically because they told us they wanted to warranty their previous work. Had we been told upfront that we could be charged $350 just to have them look at the same issue, we would not have brought it back under the impression that this was warranty work.

To make matters worse, I had already provided them with the error codes and diagnostic information before bringing the vehicle in. After their diagnostic, they essentially told me what I had already told them.

It's incredibly disappointing because this used to be a shop we trusted and recommended. Our experience this time was completely different. Being told to bring a vehicle back for warranty work and then being presented with a $2,000+ quote to repair the same issue again, followed by a $350 diagnostic charge when we declined, has destroyed that trust.

On a positive note—or perhaps a negative one, depending on how you look at it—I was ultimately able to fix the issue myself in a single evening.

Based on this experience, I can no longer recommend taking your vehicle here.

Comment : My son was recommended to this place by a dealership who shall remain nameless. This shop was tasked to do a diagnosis on why the truck wouldn't start. The price isn't what was the bad part of the experience. The bad part is that they removed all the spark plugs in their process and did not put them back in when they were informed he was going to pick the truck up. In fact, they didn't reconnect anything they disconnected to test. That's terrible business. First time I have ever sent a vehicle off to get looked at by any shop and received it back in pieces instead of how it was delivered to them. Completely dissatisfied at the laziness of this shop, I will never do business here again and will also inform everyone I know to stay away. Nothing will make it right, you only get one chance at a first impression.

Comment : I got a new car and just wanted them to check it over for me. They took all day to do it first of all, I don’t even know that they even looked at it honestly because the one thing I was concerned about was the rear wiper blade. They said it was fine, nothing needed done at all and they charged me $100. The rear blade still wasn’t working now that it’s actually raining outside, and I find out there’s no blade at all. I ran it thinking they had said it was fine and the plastic scraped the back window. That tells me they didn’t even look because it’s pretty easy to see when there’s no blade in there at all. So $100 for absolutely nothing.

Comment : Checked more than a dozen places locally and up in the valley for a new heater core on my Nissan Xterra. Prices range from $1800 to over 2K and months out. Blue Lakes Auto, came in for $1350 and I got it in, in just 1 day. Two days later, it's done and under their quote. Excellently done! This is the place!

Comment : This crew is the best and the only place to go for your European brands. Top notch service, integrity and respect. As a woman that means a lot. Boise Audi was so rude to me I’ll never go back. These guys do a better job with my Audi and are playing the long game by being honest and prompt and intelligent. They care about providing the best service to you and your car long term. I took my Lexus to them for years for a perfect ride until I sold it at 239,000 miles and now they take perfect care of my Audi. I fully recommend these guys.

Comment : Scheduled to have three basic maintenance services done on my Porsche Macan. Only one of the services was done after being in the shop all day. The oil change they did was way over priced and the used the wrong oil recommended by the manufacturer. This shop is incompetent in every way possible. Stay away!!
