Comment : Extremely disappointed with my experience at Telle Tires.
About a month ago, I had my outer tie rod replaced at the Kearney location. Afterward, I failed an inspection at another shop due to a bad inner tie rod, something Telle completely missed. I brought my car back in to have the inner tie rod replaced, then went for another inspection. This time I passed, but was told there was movement in my lower control arm bushings. Yet again, something Telle failed to mention, despite me specifically asking Marcus, the manager, about a knocking sound while turning.
Marcus told me the knocking wasn’t related to the inner tie rod and left it at that. If I raised a concern like that, why wasn’t it fully looked into? Instead of addressing the root issue, they just kept charging me more money, and never resolved the problem.
To make things worse, I was supposed to receive an $80 rebate for my tires. Instead, they applied it as a credit toward the inner tie rod replacement, rather than refunding it back to my card. That wasn’t communicated clearly, and it felt like another way to avoid accountability.
After expressing my frustration, I met with Tammy, the district manager, to try and resolve everything. But it only got worse. After getting another inspection at the Republic Road location, my car started making a loud sizzling noise. I brought it up immediately, but was told they could “barely hear it”, even though it was clearly audible. Then they told me I needed $1,600 worth of strut replacements, adding even more to my bill with no real explanation.
I’ve spent hundreds of dollars at Telle Tires, gotten inconsistent information, missed diagnoses, and no real resolution to the problems I came in with. This is my daily driver, and I don’t feel safe or taken seriously.
I won’t be recommending Telle Tires to anyone. If you want honest, thorough, and responsible service, take your car somewhere else.
