Comment : Took my car in for new struts, water pump, hoses, coolant reservoir, serpentine belt, and transmission pan gasket. Ran great at the time. Was promised the car back within a week.. Without permission, they decided to do a tuneup. Six weeks later, finally got the car back running very rough and blowing oil smoke. Was handed a bill for $2,200 above the repair quote. Plan to trailer it to a different shop to get a proper fix.

Comment : The staff here is pleasant and friendly, but I was disappointed with the overall experience. I just obtained a car that had been going through repairs at this shop, and despite six weeks’ notice, the car still wasn’t fixed when the shipper arrived. In conversations with the shop, they even revealed a mechanic had “taken it home on the weekend” to work on it — admirable effort maybe, but completely unprofessional.

When the shipper arrived for pickup, the car wasn’t fully put back together: several items were installed improperly, part of the grill was tossed in the passenger seat, and the car was absolutely filthy. The air conditioner repair (the whole reason it was in the shop) still wasn’t working properly.

I’ll concede this is a classic car (early 1980s), but if you don’t have the expertise to work on one, you really shouldn’t agree to provide service.
