Comment : Fairly nice guys, poor communication on timing, insane pricing for repairs ($700+ for rear sway bar links, $400+ for a brake hose, $1000+ for a master cylinder), and they can’t even correctly diagnose an issue the first time. They wanted $1100+ to do a brake booster, so I said I’d do it myself. I was still having issues, so I brought it in. They blamed me and said I ruined the master cylinder by not adjusting the pin correctly (the pin was pre-adjusted — I checked). My car is also old so it needed to be replaced anyways at some point. They replaced my master cylinder, charged me over $1,000, but I was still having braking issues. Knowing the repair was under warranty for 3 years, I took my car back in to see if it was related to the repair. They found the problem (a brake hose maybe?) but then charged me another $54 for “finding” the problem. Previously they pointed out the hose kink but said they wanted $75 to adjust the hose. I said no thanks to the repair and walked away. I just can’t trust these guys.

Now, immediately after going to their shop the problem is 10x worse and the caliper is almost completely seized. They couldn’t have made it purposely worse could they have? Don’t trust these guys!

Comment : I have used team automotive for years under previous owner. I hoped its reputation would continue to be as reliable under the new owners. Unfortunately this is not the case. Repeated efforts at diagnosing the issue and cumulative costs of greater than $2000 were unsuccessful in keeping my automobile running. When the issue was resolved by another garage the fix turned out to be straightforward and inexpensive. Clearly the diagnosis was incorrect and had Team began with the basics they would have found the problem. Team instead skipped those basics and jumped right to costly unnecessary “fixes”. I would not recommend this garage and in fact would suggest you look elsewhere if you need automotive repairs.
