Comment : I had the timing chain replaced on my 2011 Chevy Equinox at Superior Auto, and my car honestly feels like it did when I first got it. The difference in how it runs is night and day.
Andrew was great to work with. He took the time to explain everything to me over the phone and really broke down what was going on with the car. He also mentioned another repair that my car will eventually need, but what I appreciated most was that he didn?t pressure me into doing it right away. Because he was so clear and honest about the timing chain work, I felt comfortable giving him the go-ahead.
Communication throughout the whole process was excellent. I dropped my car off on Wednesday, and by Thursday evening it was ready for pickup. They kept me updated the entire time, which gave me a lot of peace of mind.
My dad was also impressed with their honesty and said that if either of my parents? cars ever need major work, they would bring them here too. That says a lot.
I?m really glad I stumbled across Superior Auto while searching for someone to do this repair. It?s nice to know there are still honest, trustworthy mechanics out there. Highly recommend.

Comment : I can?t recommend these guys enough. I went to them for timing chain repair on my vehicle. They completed the job quickly and $2000 less than the quote from the mechanic I had been using for the last 20 years. They were also several hundred dollars less than the dealer and included a more thorough repair. I?ve since brought another vehicle to them for a valve tap and before starting a large repair they advised me of a service bulletin that brought me to a repair free solution. This again saved me a considerable amount. This is on the heals of thinking I needed brakes for this same vehicle but they advised otherwise. They are very thorough and reasonably priced and don?t just take your money if the repair is not needed. I truly appreciate the way they treat their customers and my only regret is that I hadn?t used them sooner.
