Comment : I am writing to share feedback regarding my recent experience at your shop.

While the younger employee who assisted me was polite, I was disappointed by the service I received from the older gentleman. When I initially called for an estimate on rear brakes, I was told I needed to bring my vehicle in for a free brake inspection. However, when I arrived for my scheduled appointment, I was immediately given a price quote without the inspection being performed.

Given that I was told over the phone that a price could not be provided without an inspection, this inconsistency was frustrating and unhelpful.

I hope you will address this issue to ensure clearer communication and better service for future customers. Future customers beware, if you can't even be open and honest during the initial transaction; I question how honest your shop is with your mechanic work as well

Comment : My husband came here for an oil change & safety inspection. The work they did was good, but they also tried to talk him into $2000 of extra services. Literally, $2000. For crap like coolant flushes, and changing the air filter. Of the 6-8 things they wanted him to pay for, he only actually needed to do 3. Those 3 things were top off his coolant (they wanted him to flush it completely for $1000, but the color was fine, so all it needed was a top off), change his windshield wipers ($45), and change his engine air filter ($300). My husband did all 3 himself in 20 min for $135. Changing the air filter took 30 seconds, there is no reason to charge $300 for that. You can buy windshield wipers at Walmart or Autozone for $20. The other $700 worth of stuff Sun Auto wanted were for things like flushing other systems that obviously didn't need to be done. Needless to say, we will not be coming back here.

Comment : Sun Auto has a great service team who do a good job in keeping my older model truck running smoothly. They are prompt at diagnosing the problem, accurate in their estimate of cost, and fast in getting the problem solved. When I take my truck in for oil changes, I know I can trust them to look for any problems that might occur soon, such as worn hoses, worn parts, etc. I feel very confident in taking my truck there.
