Comment : Customer service really missed the mark for me. I brought my car in for an inspection and my first impression was rough. When I walked in, the phone was ringing. The only employee available answered and took a full call while I stood there waiting. A simple “please hold” or even a quick acknowledgment of the customer in front of them would have gone a long way.

When the call ended, I asked for an inspection but was told it couldn’t be done because the system was down. This was frustrating since I had tried coming in three days earlier and saw a sign on the door saying inspections weren’t available. That sign wasn’t up today, so I assumed it was resolved. I suggested putting the sign back up to save future customers time, but the employee became defensive and said I was the third person to “argue” with them about it.

When multiple customers mention the same concern, it’s usually a good sign that something could be improved. A simple sign on the door would make things clearer and save everyone time.

I’ve worked in customer service myself and know it’s a tough job. To the employee I met: I’m not naming you, but I do hope things get better. If you’re feeling burned out, please take care of yourself and look for ways to bring more joy into your work and life. We all have hard days, and I hope brighter ones are ahead for you.

Comment : Great experience! My car broke down after some issues with my rear driveshaft, and the Sun Auto guys were super friendly and accommodating once I got my car towed there. Joey in particular went out of his way to help me out and prioritize my car's repairs, as I'm not from the area and ideally need my car back as soon as possible. We're still waiting on the part to arrive, but in terms of ordering that part, once again Joey went well out of his way to search for the right part for my near-20-year-old car, and managed to find one across the country. I'll update my review once I get my car back, but truly a 5-star experience thus far! Thanks to all the folks at this Sun Auto for taking care of me & my car!
