Comment : I’ve been going to this shop for a while and had trusted them up until now. Unfortunately, my recent visit for a state inspection was disappointing. They failed my car for reasons that seemed questionable. One issue cited was that my third brake light was "dim." As far as I understand, inspection guidelines only require that the light functions—there’s no specific brightness requirement. They also claimed my brakes needed work, but I was given conflicting information. The technician told me the pads were down to the metal, which isn't true—there’s still at least 6mm of material left , (only need 2mm to pass inspection in virginia). Then the service advisor said the issue was uneven wear due to corrosion and recommended replacing the calipers for around $1,200. Taking a quick glance at the brake pads and driving the car, everything seems normal, the brakes dont drag or make any noise. Pads on both sides are worn equally. The inconsistency in their statements made it feel like they were just trying to find something to charge for. I was hoping this would be my go-to local shop but this experience left me pretty disappointed.

Comment : 5 stars if you're a man, but 1 star if not when you go here. Been going here for years without issue. However, when I sold my car to my teenage daughter and had her take it in for an oil change, it was a completely different experience. Even though this was a car they did the 30K mile maintenance on 6 months before, they still tried to sell her on doing it again. They even tried to tell her she needed a new engine air filter that was recently replaced and still white. Not to mention new tires that aren't needed yet at 50% more than what I would expect to pay. Extremely disappointed.
