Comment : Had a minor accident and brought it in to Strong. Tom Strong took care of my car did a beautiful job and detailed the whole inside. They are so reasonably priced and so responsive. I just want Tom and the whole team to know how much I appreciated what they did.

Comment : You get what you pay for, and less. Hired Rich Strong, the owner, to repair the metal-surround supporting the windshield on my vehicle last year. This year had to have the whole job redone. They used the wrong gasket and rust surfaced, which means they did not primer before they painted the raw metal. And they did not even match the paint, so there was a 3/8 inch border around the entire windshield.

To redo the job, I hired Oleander's in Vernon. The entire frame beneath the windshield was corroded and rusting. Olender's fixed a botched up job and my vehicle came out of there better than new. In the end, you get what you pay for.

Plus, Strong's said I would have the vehicle back in 1 week. It took them 3 weeks and would have taken longer if I had not nudged them to finish the job and give me my vehicle back. Poor quality workmanship all around and zero regard for the customer as well. If you want drama in your life and don't care that much about your vehicle, this is the place for you. If you want to deal with a professional, Rich is not your guy. A true NO value establishment.

Comment : Professional. Trusted them with my sport roadster to replace rack and pinion steering related assemblies. Align. Replace and balance two front tires. Vehicle was repaired, tested. Returned to me in pristine condition. Drives like a dream. Straight, true and tight. Steering as it should be. I'll bring my other vehicles to strongs for future repairs.

Comment : I could give cero stars .. 1 star ⭐ is way too much , this person Rich Strong is an incompetent lier . He drag the repair of my pick up truck for 5 months , and they didn’t finished properly .. dead battery , check engine light , bad oil after sitting for 5 months , body filler and fiberglass dust inside the seats all covered by dust , they remove the rear glass the first week and never put it back for about 4 months and a half , bad paint job , scratches , paint over dust , didn’t finish installing agreed work , install bumper , bed components, missing parts ( spare wheel , hook tie downs , molding ) they not even remove a coffee cup that was there for months . This person is a disrespectful incompetent theft , and a low life lier , I treat him with respect , education and politeness.. but nothing works with him , all 4 places I visit before him for a quote give me 6 weeks to straighten a rear section of the frame , install a new bed , paint the bed , fix a corner of the cab , reinstall bumper ( I end up doing it myself with my teenager in 45 min )

He told me he would take care of the battery and the mess inside the truck .. never did , this is how you deal with your customers ? I don’t think so , he was like that with me just because he didn’t feel any worries or concerns about me because he probably look at my person as a nobody. I am going to court , I will report this person to the BBB , to the CT department of consumer protection and to the DMV .
Do a favor to yourself , don’t go to this business unless you have months to waste on a job that should take weeks and half done . God is my lawyer and evil is always defeated with faith .

Even telling this guy that I was sick and couldn’t work for months I was planing on not keeping the truck anymore and sell it to cope with expenses and try to recover some money back , telling him a bunch of family struggles nothing makes him change .. I am 45 and I hate that this happen over and over because you try to trust in someone because also google shows him like a good business but I guess those are all friends .. no outsiders no real reviews .. you will pay !!
I trust in you , but the court and God will work in my favor .

Comment : This place is incredibly disappointing. My wife and I brought our Range Rover in after they confidently told us they specialize in these vehicles. After the initial diagnosis, they claimed to have fixed the issue and assured us the car was in perfect condition. Shortly after, we returned the car due to a coolant issue--this time a $4,000 repair. Weeks went by with no real answers. They kept saying they were waiting on parts and couldn't figure out why a warning light wouldn't go off. We had to constantly follow up because they didn't communicate. When we finally got the car back, it didn't drive the same. The engine was unusually loud, and worst of all, the coolant problem still wasn't resolved. Would not recommend.

Comment : Had the car about 2 weeks. I've noticed it take a long time for the engine to warm up. Contacted Strong and he said it would be $160.00 to change out the thermostat. I can do it myself In less than 10 minutes for $17.00 and change. Guess he doesn't want my business. No problemo!
