Comment : I recently took my car into Star Motors (European) for a oil change and after picking up my car the following day I found a receipt in my car where someone drove my car to a McDonald to buy lunch. I called and informed the young lady that answered the phone what I found and she repeatedly told me that the mechanics routinely do test drive on cars. I told her that I understand a "test drive" but why would a mechanic use my car to pick up his lunch and she hung the phone up in my face! They also listed items that needed repair that had been repaired 6 months earlier. I would never go back to Star Motor and have been telling everyone I know about my horrible experience and will continue to give Star Motors (European) terrible review to any and everyone that will listen.

Comment : I brought my Range Rover sport in for new tires and a slow coolant leak. Replacing the tires was expensive but I figured these guys knew what they were doing with ?European? cars and I needed the coolant leak fixed. They replaced the thermostat and housing which was supposed to fix the leak. When I got the car back the next day the car was smoking, overheating and coolant was spewing out from the radiator so I took it right back to the shop. After a diagnostic, they told me that it needed an additional $4500 of work to fix this new and much more severe coolant problem. They refused to take any responsibility for this new issue. Before I took it to this shop it was a slow leak. I would have to add some coolant from time to time. It never overheated. Immediately after taking it here, it?s shooting out coolant and overheating. A clear cause and effect that they would not acknowledge. In fact they were extremely rude when I asked them to work with me on the insanely high price of a repair that was not my responsibility. They eventually told me to come get my vehicle or they would have it towed. So feel free to come to this shop if that is how you want to be treated as a customer.

After all that, I took it to the Land Rover dealer and they fixed it for the same $4500 price. I regret taking it to Star. I should have gone straight to the dealer and maybe I wouldn?t have had to pay to fix something I didn?t break.
