Comment : This is the go-to auto shop you can really trust. I've been bringing my cars and truck here for years, whether it s just routine maintenance or bigger issues. Comment : I was recommended Spar Auto by the Auto Glass Co next door. Prior to taking my car to Spar, my car was serviced by Toyota. I must say that AL and his staff are extremely honest.Toyota informed me 2 years prior that I needed a rear sway bar. After Spar checked, Al informed me the sway bar was still in good condition.Today I took my wife's Toyota to Spar for 4 service lights on the dashboard. Spar serviced the car in a timely manner and I picked the car up the same day. Al and his staff always treat me as a valued customer when the Toyota needs service. Comment : I have been a customer here for some time. Unfortunately the last time I brought my sons car in after I called and said the car was throwing a similar code from a repair you just did. Two days past and no call so I decided to call them and the gentleman I spoke to said we tried to call you. Checked my phone for missed calls and my messages none. Mechanic stated I needed a new ECM but was not sure what the cost would be and could not give me an answer because the owner was gone for the day. So I said I will pick up the car and use it while I wait to hear from you. To this point no one mentioned or is it posted anywhere that a $225 diagnostic fee would be charged. I said you guys are fixing it why am I being charged for a diagnostic fee. Mechanic stated the diagnostic fee plus parts plus labor to install ECM. Average diagnostic fees range from $50 to $100 anywhere else. This is a money grab at worst or at best poor business sense. I intended to have them fix the car when they gave me the time frame and cost. Still got neither, buyer beware.I have been a customer here for some time. Comment : Picked up my 95 Dodge Dakota that I am currently restoring. The Spar Auto team members, particularly Al and Ryan have been great with this process! They not only handled my mechanicals, i.e. front and rear shock replacement, total front disc brakes, calibers and rotors, also the rear brakes and drums, oil, filter & lubrication. They have also completed some custom Mopar color painting on select engine parts and my underbody. Spar Auto has a pretty good team of technicians! Last, but not least, I've been a customer of Spar Auto for 15 plus years. Al and his team have supported and kept up various makes and models of my and my family's vehicles. Thanks, Al

Comment : The first time I brought my car to Spar Auto, I couldn't get an appointment with my regular mechanic and I needed my brakes checked. They got me in checked my brakes and found they were fine. They didn't try to sell me a brake job. Since then, I've been bringing my car to them for service. These guys have been great every time. They're honest and professional. Also nice guys.

Comment : I've been using SPAR auto services for years, they provide great service. They are honest and open about the service needed. Al is great to deal with, he always has the customers best interest at hear. I will continue to get my cars repaired/services by SPAR auto.
