Comment : When I had a problem with my antilock brake system, I called Scheners. They were very backed up, but they managed to squeeze me in between things. They diagnosed the situation and go over whole Under part of my car with a video camera to show you exactly where the problem is what it is and to inspect for any leaks or problems. They did a great job both times that I had the car in for problems, diagnosed it, and took care of it within a day. Thank you so much for getting my truck back on the road so I could go on my camping trip.

Comment : I recently visited this dealership to look at a used 2021 Chevrolet Traverse LS AWD. To start on a positive note, the salesman I worked with, Derek, was responsive, respectful and professional throughout the process.

Unfortunately, the condition of the vehicle was far worse than advertised online, which was a major disappointment. From the photos and description, I expected a fairly clean SUV. In person, the exterior looked decent with no major dents or scratches, but the interior told a different story - scratches throughout, a few paint stains, and even a broken third-row headrest. One of the windshield wipers was also broken, which was surprising to see on a vehicle actively being marketed for sale.

Initially, I was told the Traverse had been serviced and came with new tires, which sounded promising. Thankfully, I requested a pre-purchase inspection (PPI) at a third-party shop, and this is where the real issues came to light. The inspection revealed extensive neglected maintenance: all fluids (transmission, brake, engine, coolant, differential) needed attention, the cabin filter was overdue, and the rear brake system required replacement. On top of that, the radio/electrical system had issues, the fuel tank heat shield was broken, the tires were actually in need of replacement with an alignment, and there was hidden damage to the rear bumper of unknown severity.

I made a couple of fair offers, but we couldn’t reach an agreement. Honestly, in hindsight, that may have been for the best. The dealership seemed to rely heavily on CarGurus pricing as their baseline, which is only a guide, not an appraisal of a vehicle’s actual value or condition. With the history and current state of this Traverse, I believe it poses a high risk for any buyer unless all those issues are properly addressed.

Overall, this wasn’t a great experience. It seems the dealership was more focused on moving the vehicle “as-is” rather than standing behind its quality, which gave an overall bad impression. While Derek himself was courteous, the overall experience was disappointing, especially given the dealership’s strong online ratings. Based on my experience, I won't return and I can’t recommend this dealership for used vehicles.

Comment : I would like to thank Dylan Kamerer in the service department for helping us with our vehicle. Dylan was very professional and knowledgeable. Dylan was quick to find out that our vehicle needs an emissions part. He was able to get the part quickly and schedule the service asap. Dylan even went above and beyond to find out the part was a recall issue. So it became no cost to us. Schoner should be very proud to have Dylan on their team.

Comment : I NEVER leave reviews but am so fed up with this piece of garbage vehicle they sold me I felt the need to warn others.
Bought a 2018 Acadia. Was told it had gone through all the inspections. 1 1/2 months and 1,150 miles later I had to replace the transmission and now check engine light on for bad cat. Called in and was told nothing could be done and sorry about my luck. That’s not how you do business or earn repeat customers. Stay away. Will never go there again and will tell everyone I know to avoid doing business there.
