I was trying to license my vehicle and informed I would need an additional inspection for an out of state title. I drove over to Schicker without an appointment and they got my vehicle in to be inspected and had me out the door in about 15 minutes. Completely unexpected, but 100% appreciated. 1 Reviews Robert cordia Union, MO Reviewed : 10/06/2025 Comment : Had a recall on my flex they fixed it pretty fast that day great work 1 Reviews Tim clynes Union, MO So they sent me pics and of course ford couldn't cover because it was cause by the wiring harness. So I start calling my other extended warranty and of course they couldn't cover it do to the don't cover battery cables or what they damage. So I figured im screwed!!So i told Ed at schicker ford to get the drive shaft balance and ill come get it. Think ill either trade it or get a second option. Ed said it fine to drive if your going to trade it in but we will fix the main electric line that had a hole in it. Ok sounds good. 500.00 dollars later I get it home in my shop and decide to take a look at it and couldn't get the electric to work in the coach? So I check the battery all good there then check where schicher ford had fixed the line and it had pulled out of its connection that they said they fixed for 500.00 dollars!! Had to fix it right myself then I check power all good. So that got me thinking about this whole deal? So I call a transmission shop to see if they could look at it and told them the problem i was having. They said sure bring it in. So I did and they started laughing at me about what I had told them that schicher ford said. They said that little weight which was the size of a quarter and the electric 12volt would not do anything to the transmission to cause it to be replaced!! They check it all out and balance the drive shaft and it runs perfect! 200.00 dollars later. They even said that I could have drove the motorhome for ever with just that 1 little weight off of the drive shaft and it wouldn't have hurt the transmission. It didn't have enough vibration in it to hurt it but is good they got it right and that the power line was fixed.SO THE WAY I FEEL THE ONLY THING SCHICKER FORD DID FOR ME WAS THEY BROUGHT ATTENTION TO ME ON HOW SCREWED UP EXTENDED WARRANTIES ARE AND THEY SELL PEOPLE PARTS THEY DONT NEED AND CANT FIX A SIMPLE ELECTRIC LINE!! ALL THE UPS AND DOWNS ME AND MY WIFE HAVE GONE THRU OVER THE LAST MONTH HAS BEEN UNREAL THAT SCHICKER FORD CREW HAS CAUSE. THIS MOTOR HOME WE BOUGHT A YR AGO WITH 4000 MILES ON IT AND IT COST OVER 100.000. IM GUESS SCHICKER FORD FIGURE I COULD AFFORD A ANOTHER 6500 FOR A NEW TRANSMISSION AND DRIVE SHAFT!! JUST A GLORIFIED NEW PARTS CHANGING PLACE IN MY EYES!!What they should have did was to fix the electric line and got the drive shaft balance then see how it ran!Fixing the problem first!! Not selling people brand new shit they don't need!!!I called to get my 500 dollars back and never heard from Ed again? He said he would talk to his manager and call me back. Figures! Another bad thing!!I hated to even give them 1 star but I had to to be able to post this mess!'> Reviewed : 09/26/2025 Comment : So this might be a little long but ITS a must to read!I brought my 2023 quantum motor home to shicker ford to have it looked at. I was hearing a clicking noise when driving it. Sounded like drive shaft problem? So after 2 weeks they looked at it and found a wiring harness hanging down near the drive shaft which was the main 12volt power to the coach and the drive shaft had rub a hole in the side of it which it was sparking they said and had pulled 1 of the weights off the drive shaft. They said it was so bad that I would need a new drive shaft and transmission! They said I was lucky it didn't burn down and with the weight being gone on the drive shaft it had messed up the transmission right where the drive shaft goes into it! So im like are you sure you have the right motor home? It seem fine when I brought it to you other than the clicking? .So they sent me pics and of course ford couldn't cover because it was cause by the wiring harness. It’s been 6 days & I haven’t had any issues with the vehicle at all. I received a fair price & decent warranty as well. Overall I would recommend this dealership to anyone. They worked with my price point & got me approved with a great interest rate. Thanks ! Mike was a pleasure to work with. 1 Reviews Martha bindshedler Union, MO Reviewed : 09/22/2025 Comment : While traveling RT 66 our Born Free RV experienced rear brake issues and alternator charging problems.
