Comment : Absolutely horrible. SUV goes in for a transmission light, they DO NOT CHECK codes. Just tell you nothing is wrong with the transmission all it needs is new motor mounts. Charge you a couple thousand for stuff you didt need. Surprise Surprise TRANSMISSION IS STILL NOT FIXED!!

Comment : I called them asking if they fixed timing belts and they could not answered y/n. After mispronouncing VIN number as BIN number, the service consultant kept asking for a BIN number and i asked them where i can find this BIN number. After attempts at trying to clarify if they meant VIN number, they gave up on the call and called their manager who berated me for being difficult when i simply did not understand what the service consultant meant. Additionally, I was put on hold for more than 15 mins and they still did not answer the questions whether they fix timing belts or not. I understand this is a family business, but there are some simple communication issues that should not be found in any service industry. And Santos might just have a number of these issues.

Comment : I use my car for work and put a lot of miles on it. Though the shop is busy busy, they are always willing to help. Definitely keep me on the road!

Comment : The mechanics at Santos are highly qualified and the prices are fair. I had an issue with my Jeep that was very hard to diagnose. Multiple mechanics at other shops looked at it and couldn't figure it out. It was a year long ordeal. One of the mechanics recommended I take it to Santos. I learned that Mr. Santos is known as “The Car Whisperer.” Eventually, he and is staff figured it out. Haven't had that issue since. Communication can be a little challenging and they can sometimes take a while to diagnose and fix things but I think it's because they're so busy. It's obvious that they care and do their best. If you are patient with them, they will take very good care of you. Shout out to Tracy and Santos' wife at the front desk. They are always so sweet and friendly.

Comment : was very displeased that i was charged a $150 supposedly refundable deposit for having to have an emergency tow to the shop. I was told this would be refunded once the repair was completed and taken off the total cost of the repair. I had put the deposit on a credit card over the phone. I was told this would be refunded. this did not happen and when i reached out, i was not returned a call. i disputed the charge and it did not go through so i'm very dissatisfied that my repair of $650 actually ended up being $800. total bummer, this deposit seemed totally unusual, and i've never had to pay one before to be able to have a car towed to a shop. i hear they do good work and are fair, and they did fix the repair, but this deposit on top of an already extremely expensive random fix made me feel like they were taking advantage of me as a customer, and i wont be taking my vehicles there for service again. :(

Comment : I just dropped off my old truck to have the ignition switch replaced. Referred to Santos by MidCity Auto. Santos did the work quickly and without issue. The part plus labor was under $250. Very happy with their service.

Comment : I second the most recent review from Anastasia. This place can definitely do better with customer service and making clients feel welcomed. On my most recent visit, which was last week, I had a concern after getting work done on my vehicle and one of the mechanics were very dismissive. He even walked away from me and the lady who was helping me which was rude. I brushed it off. Other than that, my experience here was great. My dad recommended this shop to me; he said that they'd been around for years and were reliable. Affordable prices as well. Shout out to one of the ladies who works at the front desk named Ms. Melcus for going above and beyond and showing great care for all of my concerns. She was the reason my experience here was pleasant and I truly appreciate her. Overall, I am satisfied with the work done on my vehicle, but again, customer service needs improvement.
