Thank you all for all your hard work !! 1 Reviews Eldred nims The Woodlands, TX We approved the repair along with other work related to the engine belt tensioner, which was noisy and faulty. After we received the car and paid in excess of 4 thousand dollars, the leak was still there. We returned the car several times throughout the month of January, some for drivability issues related to the emissions system and for the continued oil leak. The emission issues were related to the catalytic converters and the oxygen sensor, which took them two different visits to properly diagnose. Each trip something new was found, even though we had originally been talked into paying for a new diagnosis to confirm the source of the leak. After paying for yet another part to solve the leak on visit number three, this time oil filter housing, the leak was still there. Finally today February 10, 2026, they used a uv dye to supposedly identify the leak. Why they did not do that the first time, beats me, but when I take my car to shop, they need to identify the actual problem, especially if they have the nerve to charge for diagnosis. After nearly six weeks of returning the car for the same leak as well as other issues related to the emission systems, they once again did another inspection and came back to their original diagnosis of the rear main seal being the cause of the leak. Really? I mean none of the other diagnoses that contracted this original diagnoses were small jobs. So at this point we will be disputing all related services to the oil leak, because it was never diagnosed properly and has not been resolved. It is clear they failed to diagnose and issue that cost us almost $2600. We chose to take our car elsewhere. Not sure how viable this shop will be, if they don't value their customer's time and expect them to continually return for the same job to be done properly. Never again. That's another reason to also pay with a credit card. I have initiated disputes on all services related to the oil leak, so we can use those funds to pay true experts to diagnose and solve our issue. They were able to resolve the emission issues, so those services are excluded. All our other future services for control arm replacement and work on our other vehicles will be taken elsewhere. Simply too much trial and error at this place, for as much as they charge.'> Reviewed : 02/11/2026 Comment : I had to replace my earlier review. Too much Trial and Error here. We just got our Honda back from Rusty's Garage after multiple trips to resolve an oil leak, which had been diagnosed by them initially as a rear main seal more than a year ago. When we decided to get the oil lead repaired, they explained the need to re-inspect the car to confirm their earlier diagnosis, and even charged us for it. On December 29, 2025 we took the car to them to repair the leak. After their diagnosis, we were told that it was not the rear main seal, as suspected by them more than a year ago, but the oil pan gasket. We approved the repair along with other work related to the engine belt tensioner, which was noisy and faulty.
