Comment : After my last mechanic closes, I started going here and I'm beyond happy with the service I get. They are so on top of communicating throughout the entire process, are refreshingly honest, and take the time to explain what's happening. There are times where I need to wait a little bit until they can see me but it is worth it every single time.

Comment : Sadly they have decided to remove all of their EV charging. They were known as the first gas station to convert to EV charging, but sadly that has ended.

This was one of the things that made me happy to move to Takoma Park and its truly sad it is ending. EVs are important to the community and America's future and health, and this set back will hurt.

After bringing my and my wife’s car to RS for the last several years, I can confidently say I’ve found my new trusted small town mechanic in them. I can give them my unqualified recommendation based on both the quality of work and their level of service.

Comment : RS Auto did exceptional work diagnosing a complex electrical and battery issue on my Mazda 3 after multiple failed attempts elsewhere. They identified the real problem quickly, explained everything clearly, and helped me advocate for a warranty replacement so I didn’t end up paying for something I shouldn’t have. Their front-desk representative, is outstanding — a level of customer service, clarity, and support that is rarely experienced. They build trust from the first call and make you feel confident that your car is in the right hands. RS Auto has earned my loyalty, and this is where I’ll continue to go for all future work.
