I am a college student and on my way back home for Thanksgiving and my check engine light came on in the middle of nowhere. I was about an hour from my college and 3 hours from home so I decided to go to R&S. When my car was not able to be fixed that day one of the men at R&S (Roger) took me to the best hotel in the area and made sure I had food and everything I needed. Then I called them multiple times the next day to get updates on my car and they always answered me promptly and patiently, which as a young adult helped calm my anxieties. Then when my car was done, his son came to pick me up which was incredibly appreciated. If I could give them 10 stars I would. 1 Reviews Josh niehaus Hancock, MD Reviewed : 11/28/2025 Comment : I had a wonderful experience. Our check engine light started blinking while traveling for Thanksgiving. R&S were able to diagnose the problem and fix it the day after Thanksgiving allowing us to travel home the next day. 1 Reviews Jolene cox Hancock, MD Reviewed : 11/10/2025 Comment : This company is amazing! We broke down with a flat in I-70 west with a horrible accident about 1.5 miles in front of us. Cody, the tow trucker driver waited in traffic for about an hour before he could reach us. Was professional and pleasant and had the tire changed out to the spare and us back on the road in less than 15 minutes. It made a stressful situation, that much easier. Would not hesitate to use this business again for any towing needs. 1 Reviews Mildred nahdela Hancock, MD Reviewed : 11/04/2025 Comment : Will is really good man he help me without knowing where I'm from. I really appreciate him. R&S auto is the best. 1 Reviews Judy price Hancock, MD Reviewed : 10/29/2025 Comment : I locked my keys in my car, called them and they were here in a hour and took a quick minute to open it up. Super fast and friendly. Quality service. Ever in need these are your guys! 1 Reviews Amanda petenbrink Hancock, MD Reviewed : 10/20/2025 Comment : This place was amazing!!! I had to get a plug for my tire due to picking up a foreign object and the staff there was amazing to get me on my way fast to make my son’s football game. Definitely would recommend them for service needs!!! 1 Reviews Tyranian Hancock, MD Reviewed : 10/06/2025 Comment : Stay away from this garage. Owner started off nice and helpful and also quoting me much lower than the ending cost. Blew a spark plug in my truck. Something that should of been $1k in charges at the most ended up being $1600. Owner replaced unnecessary parts. 1 plug blew so it should of only needed 1 plug and 1 coil pack. Owner opted to install all new plugs and coils. Didn't need to remove the head to repair but yet charged me the costs of what that would have ran in an honest shop. I felt something was off so I called two other shops in the area and was told at most would be a $500 repair. When I tried talking to the owner about the excess expense he instantly went to being belligerent and told me he would just put my parts in my truck floorboard and shove my truck out in the parking lot and I can come get it. By that point he already knew he had me in a tuff spot. If I could give this shop 0 stars I would. What a jerk. Just charge fair prices and do the job correctly. 200 miles after getting my truck "repaired" it had developed a misfire, I ended up at another garage, when they pulled out plug number 4 that was replaced they found that the plug put in wasn't even the plug that went to my truck, it was about 1 inch longer than all the others causing a misfire and terrible idle. Stay away from this shop. Putting a call to the Maryland attorney general about deceptive business practices. This guy shouldn't be running a hot dog cart. 1 Reviews Tiffany crumpton Hancock, MD Reviewed : 10/02/2025 Comment : These guys are one in a million. Our van overheated on our way to Lexington, we brought it here and they not only gave us coolant but also helped us out with diagnosing the problem!Highly recommend!! 1 Reviews Robert madello Hancock, MD Reviewed : 09/26/2025 Comment : I called R&S on my way from Morgantown to Hagerstown on I-68 and I knew I had a leak in my tire. Roger, the owner, was accommodating and had Paul work on right away. Paul found a screw in the tire, but was not leaking there, then he was able to find the leak and plug the tire with same technique I would have used. If you are ever close to Hancock, MD and in need of vehicle repair, I recommend these guys. 1 Reviews Andy ballentine Hancock, MD Reviewed : 09/26/2025 Comment : I highly recommend you not use this shop. I regard them as unprofessional and dishonest. I seldom leave reviews on anything, but my experience was so negative I felt obligated to leave one. Take your business elsewhere. My car broke down and AAA towed it to their garage (by happenstance, it maximized my 100 mile allowance). I was treated rudely, charged $62 more than I was quoted for the diagnostic fee, and the vehicle went missing, presumably stolen, before habitat for humanity could pick it up as a charitable donation. Mind you it was a broken down 2004 Pontiac vibe. I promise you this actually happened. All to say, you will get swindled in some way if you use them. Page 1 of 9 |<< 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 → >|
