Comment : My first visit to Route 66 auto repair. The dealership that has been servicing my car was unable to diagnose the issue after two expensive visits. Spoke with Frank and Dillan and they not only diagnosed the problem in under 2 hours they also made the repairs same visit and I was able to pick up my car the same day!
Great work, fair price and great customer service.

Comment : Took my motorhome in to get the AC checked,was told $150 to diagnose and that labor is $150 an hour,was also told that the $150 for diagnostic goes toward the labor cost. Frank calls and tells me at 11:09 am that it's for sure a vacuum line and that depending on how long it takes it could be anywhere from $200 to $800 and that he can start checking it out and give me an idea along the way what it might cost. So I dropped by his shop at 1230 pm with my video going to show that Rv is still sitting in parking lot and not being worked on. Frank comes out and says that mechanic is at lunch and will be back soon and yes I recorded all this. 2 hours later he calls me not with an along the way update but with a final price of $720. So no update,no heads up about what it may cost and $500 more for 2 hours? EVEN IF I DID AGREE, 2 HOURS OF LABOR DOESN'T ADD UP TO $525,remember I was there at 1230 pm recording. HE TELLS ME BECAUSE HE PUT 2 MECHANICS ON IT THE LABOR RATE DOUBLES.... REALLY??? WHERE IS THAT WRITTEN? THEN HE REFUSES TO HONOR THE AAA DISCOUNT WHICH IS THE REASON I WENT THERE. HE TELLS ME THE DISCOUNT IS ONLY ON PARTS AND NOT PARTS AND LABOR AND HE ALSO HAS THAT ON THE RECEIPT AND IS RECORDED SAYING ALL THIS. I HAVE ALREADY OPENED UP A CASE WITH AAA AND THE BUREAU OF AUTOMOTIVE REPAIR AND SMALL CLAIMS IS NEXT. THE RECEIPT CLEARLY SAYS I REFUSED THE SERVICE, AND HE ALSO HAD THE NERVE TO OFFER ME AN AC RECHARGE FOR ANOTHER $300 WHICH I DECLINED ALSO. I'm not sure if everybody is up charged like this but certain type of people are and I'm living proof.BBB, BUREAU OF AUTOMOTIVE REPAIR AND SMALL CLAIMS NEXT. I HAVE VIDEO AND RECORDINGS AND WILL BE POSTING FOR ALL TO SEE ON FACE BOOK,YOU TUBE AND IG. THE WORST THING HE DID IS SAY OUT OF HIS OWN MOUTH THAT THE LABOR COST GOES UP IF HE HAS TO PUT ANOTHER GUY ON IT. SO TWO GUYS WORKING FOR 2 HOURS ON THE SAME VEHICLE EQUALS 4 LABOR HOURS,WHICH YOU CAN CLEARLY HEAR HIM SAY IN THE AUDIO RECORDING, WHICH IS NOT POSTED OR WAS TOLD TO ME. AND THE 3 CUSTOMERS BEHIND ME HAVE AGREED TO BE WITNESSES. I'm not greedy and don't want all my money back and I have morals, but you don't charge a customer double for labor because one guy couldn't figure it out so you had to put two or 3 on one job, that's not the customers problem Frank shame on you, I will be posting video and audio soon

Comment : It was easy to get an appointment to have my car looked at. The technicians were able to pinpoint the issues I was concerned about. They explained what was causing the problems and made the repairs quickly. The repair cost was reasonable. The staff was friendly and informative. They are now my go to mechanics!!

Comment : There must be a background before I tell you my opinion. 1965 Mustang, that was my father‘s in the 60s. I inherited it, my three sons drove it as their high school car and my grandson will now drive it. This car Is very special in our family. It has never been to a shop under my ownership, until now.. I did much research before I took it anywhere. Route 66 auto repair is where I landed and I am extremely satisfied with Frank and his staff. When I picked up the car today, I was reminded of why I made the right decision. The entire garage was full of Muscle cars. So I had to take a picture. I will never take my car anywhere else. Trust is difficult to find, I found it.
