Comment : I had such a great experience bringing my vehicle in this morning! I had been experiencing an issue that was concerning me, and the technician was incredibly understanding of how urgent it felt. He was able to get me in and out quickly, which I really appreciated. It's not always easy to find a shop where you feel heard and taken care of, especially when you're worried about your car, so this experience really meant a lot to me. Thank you Jason in particular for being so accommodating, thorough, and helpful! I'll definitely keep this shop in mind for future car needs and would absolutely recommend them to others!

Comment : Excellent service on my vehicle since initial repair in 2021. In June 2022 I purchased a new battery. It lasted 4 years and 3 months! Incredible longevity with our hot summers. Highly recommend Rising Sun for reasonable cost, quality parts and exceptional service.

Comment : I had an unknown battery/alternator/starter issue and Rising Sun did a great job diagnosing, giving me a quick estimate and finishing the job! I'll definitely be switching my mechanic now.

Comment : I had been going through a nightmare from a prior auto shop (Sun Auto NOT to be confused with Rising Sun Automotive!). They said I needed a new engine. ($8k) so it Sat there since February. Insurance wouldn't take responsibility because of their reported diagnostic. I was about to sell it to a 'we buy cars' type of place... when I went, I asked them just for kicks if they'd jump/ charge the battery since they'd replaced it because I was 90% sure thats all it needed & sure enough it started and ran. They had told me there were also metal shavings in the oil. After having it towed to Rising Sun Automotive, they found no metal shavings. I will not say the extent at which Joe & Jason went to help me, but within a week, my vehicle was running with a new battery. They are thorough, honest and kind. If you own a foreign vehicle (Toyota is what I have...) I would recommend this shop to ANYONE. They aren't 'cheap', but they know what they're doing and dont overcharge. They will definately keep you in the loop constantly and rather than have it looked at by someone who's just looking to make a buck or doesn't have proper training and experience, in the long run, I could have saved over $15k for a simple battery. Thank you guys so much! They saved me from a literal disaster and I can not be more satisfied nor grateful.

Comment : Had the best experience here! As a woman, I often worry about people trying to swindle me when taking my car in, but the crew at Rising Sun Auto was fantastic and I particularly appreciated my communications with Jason. He was honest and straightforward with me, and after calling various popular auto shops around the city, he was able to offer me the best price point by quite a bit. And no one was pushing for me to get alllll the bells and whistles done, it was just the most pressing issues. Will be coming back here for all my future car needs!

Comment : As the general manager of a large Toyota dealership in South Texas, I highly recommend Rising Sun. When my 83 year old father's Toyota wouldn't start, Jason, the manger answered my call immediately and set clear expectations. The entire team was prompt, courteous, communicative, and, most importantly, honest. Highly recommend.
