Now I travel three times the distance because I honestly don't need overly friendly staff... but some degree of respect is warranted.The man at the front at Rick's Automotive seems genuinely friendly. Comment : .y car broke down on the freeway, I was stressed about what it would cost me to repair it. AAA towed me to ricks automotive in Granada hills. This was the best possible place i could have gone. The staff was professional and honest, they helped me right away because I was stranded far from home. I am so grateful for their fast and highly professional service, they fixed the problem right away and did not take advantage of me. If you live anywhere near ricks automotive in Granada hills I highly recommend you see them for any of your car service needs. These guys are the best!!! Thank God for ricks automotive.

Comment : This is the BEST Place to bring your car for any type of service. I had an electrical issue that lead to a dead battery, plus an oil change. It took less than a week to diagnose and fix - all at a very fair price.Tim is amazing! Very honest, helpful and goes above and beyond for his customers. The work by the team is top notch. For over 25 years this shop has been serserving the San Fernando and Santa Clarita valleys.

Comment : Ruined my wheels doing a tire rotation. Got em fixed but wouldnt pay for a rental. Even though his worker butchered my wheels. I couldnt drive my car for a week. I even came back because its close to my house. Everytime they said theyre busy and they have no time. It never looks busy there. Ever. Their prices are about the highest they can be. And they seem to only be comfortable with white clients. In fact thats all you see there.Edit: now you know how condescending this idiot is. They have a corner shop. With a big ricks automotive sign. ..the tim guy is kind of weird and not all there. If youre not white totally dont go here. If you want to pay dealer prices minus the quality and like to wait extra long for simple jobs. Go here.

Comment : I have nothing but good things to say about the team here at Rick's. I bring my Toyota Camry and Toyota Corolla here all the time and Tim and his team never fail to give us amazing service. Today I brought my Camry here for an oil change and check up and they charged me a proper price and gave me excellent service by finishing in less than an hour. They have never overcharged me, never tried to scam me with nonsense. Always happy to be a customer here at Rick's!

Comment : Scammers hiding behind good ratings took my vehicle in for them to check it out due to it heating up a bit they replaced a coolant temperature sensor cause apparently that was the problem got my vehicle back took it back a week later cause it was throwing white smoke they said it was a head gasket failure wanted to charge me $6000 for a head gasket/radiator replacement took it to another shop it was just my thermostat and radiator saved me $5000 was never my head gasket new shop ran 3 tests and it was solid. To this day my vehicle hasn t heated up.
