Comment : I recently found myself in need of an oil change and tire rotation, so took the opportunity to scope out a new provider in the Magnolia area.

Repair One was suggested to me by another well-known and respected mechanic.

It was easy to schedule an appointment, the process was clean and straightforward, and I was able to get in quickly.

In general, it was a positive visit, and I plan to continue to use them for my maintenance needs going forward.

The cost was standard and what I expected; they did not try to upsell me on things that I didn't need yet, and were friendly and approachable.

I appreciated the separate waiting room that was really well set up with comfortable seating, plugs, wifi, and a coffee machine.

They are AAA-accredited (reviewed for cost and quality by AAA) and provide a shuttle service within a radius of their shop. They are also not a big corporation and are locally owned and run, something that is important to me.

So though I don't have a lot of experience with them yet, the experience I have had was positive; they have all the markers of a good service provider and a good reputation.

Comment : The thing that impresses me most is they will give you an honest opinion on whether a maintenance job needs to be done or not. Several times they have let me know that I was in good shape without any work required. In my latest visit I got a free inspection of my brakes, which I suspected needed replacing, and was given a fair price for the amount of work that needed to be done. They even gave me a free ride home so that I did not need to call an Uber, since they could get started that day. I like the online pricing after they have done the inspection, and the ability to accept or reject specific recommendations. I also had mentioned that I had a slightly rough idle ( I have 114,000 mile on my truck), and they recommended a fuel injector cleaning service which also cleans the carbon from the the valves and pistons. This made my truck much smoother, like new!
