Comment : To start this off, I want to make one thing perfectly clear: the only reason they even get one star is because it’s the minimum rating required. This garage botched an oil change to begin with and, in the process, completely stripped the oil pan on my vehicle. As a result, it leaked all of the oil right onto the ground. When I brought it back, they "claimed" to have fixed their mistake—only to have it leak all over again once I got home. I called the shop, and shockingly, they insisted it wasn’t their fault—even though no one else touched the vehicle, and they clearly don’t know how to do their job properly. I’ve seen other reviews with similar stories, and honestly, it’s infuriating. Their blatant lack of professionalism and complete disregard for customer safety and quality service is nothing short of outrageous.

Comment : This is gonna be long. Ok I was debating on putting this up or not. But here I go. So last Wednesdays I took my truck in to get it looked at. I needed new boots and my windshield wiper was not working. The lady I talk to was great . I got a call back at the end of the day telling me it was just a screw loose on my windshield they just tightened me it up. Let me just say they did not charge me for only tighting up a screw. I was very appreciative. But they gave me this long talk about you cant replace the boot without the axle. I know is wrong. I was told other places you could it was just not recommended. But the boot was dry rooted, they call me back with a price. Fast forward to yesterday 4/22/26 . I call back since I have not heard anything and its been a week. Well a guy answer, I get put on hold . I Got "discounted " which its not the first time. I believe his name was Travis answered and I kindly was like sorry we must got disconnected. He answered and didnt get nothing else out just rudely says what do you want . That's when I explain i would like my quote. He then told me you cant replace the boots with out the other part. Now did I have attitude yes. But when I get asked what do I want also seemed like he just didnt want to do it . Then he says your boot is fine. You can drive it till it goes bad. I reply what happens when your boot goes bad. I knew what happens when your boot goes back it really messes up axle. Especially when your driving . I know a little bit, im just bad with names of parts of vehicles . So he most likely assumed because im a women I dont know nothing. But anyway he replied nothing it just goes bad. So I did get frustrated and was like you know what never mind and hung up. Well within 5 mins I get a call back and a voice mail saying how rude I was. And how he did screw in my Bolt for free. Blah blah blah. I didnt listen to the rest of the voice mail. But extremely unprofessional and he is the reason I will never go back. I figured id leave a screenshot of the at least the phone call. Incase they try to say he never left me a voice mail.

Comment : Excellent garage that offers good customer service, & quality repairs. They have good mechanics on staff and offer timely repairs. Appointments are easy to have scheduled and they get you scheduled as soon as possible. I Highly recommend Reliable Towing, Tire and Auto Center, for your next vehicle maintenance and/or vehicle repairs!

Comment : Absolutely the WORST experience I have ever had with an auto repair place. I spent almost $900 for my car to sound like this?!? And they REFUSED to fix the mistake they made! Said this is NORMAL?! DO NOT take your car here unless you plan on paying top dollar to have to take your car somewhere else to fix their screw up! AND (this is the BEST part) their sister garage in Hollidaysburg confirmed that my car was messed up and they still won’t fix it on Walnut Avenue. They replaced an alternator and sistine belts, charged me almost $900 and my car sounds like a 1990 Ford Tempo now, that has 300,000 miles on it, and it’s a beautiful, well taken care of BMW! Listen to this video and I challenge ANYONE to tell me this is what a BMW is supposed to sound like! It’s NEVER sounded this way, and now these idiots say it’s NORMAL. What a joke this place is, you shouldn’t be in business.
05/18/25 UPDATE!
So, I took my BMW to European Motors, and the new alternator that Reliable installed had a bad bearing. European Motors contacted Reliable for me, let them know that the alternator they had installed in my car was defective, and so Reliable paid for the new part and labor for European Motors to install a new one. Thank you Reliable for doing the right thing, although next time, listen to your customers, when they tell you that their car does not sound they way it should, especially when they have owned the car for 15+ years.
