Comment : We’ve been using racetrack auto for the past eight years and consistently from the reminder email to schedule an appointment to make an appointment to having our vehicle done in a timely manner and at a very reasonable cost. We continue to depend on them to take care of us.

Comment : I would have to say this is the worst mechanic shop on the eastern shore from lying to trying to scam customers. I will never be taking any of my vehicles here again. I took my car for A/C work, I explicitly said please check everything with the A/C and so they said that they did. They then said the diagnosis was only just a cracked hose and gave me a fairly high price but I said to the man on the phone that as long as you can guarantee that the fix that you will be doing will fix the A/C then go ahead with the repair and he then assured me that it would be fixed so I agreed. I dropped my car off on Monday and waited for a call, that call never came so I had to call myself on Friday to see what was going on with my car. They said that they were delayed due to getting sent the wrong part which I don’t have a problem with as mistakes happen but it was the lack of communication from them that was very unprofessional and felt frustrating about being left in the dark about my car. While I was on the phone, they said they were going to have to get the part made and I asked if that changed the price and they assured me after double checking that the price was the same so I was okay with that. I get a call later that same day saying my car was done and they wanted almost 400 dollars extra after I was assured that the price would not change. They never got my approval for the work to be done with the significant price increase so I had to fight with them on the phone to get as close to my original price as I could. I get the car home and the A/C barely makes a day and then stops working so I take it back and they said the compressor was the reason the A/C failed and proceeded to quote an highly overpriced estimate after the guy assured me multiple times that my A/C would work once the cracked hose was replaced. Never go to this place they are crooks and just want to take advantage of you.

Comment : I recently had a big repair done at Race Track Auto and had a great experience! The team was easy to communicate with and kept me updated throughout the entire process. Even though my car was there for a while due to the size of the job, they did excellent work and really took the time to make sure everything was done right.

A couple days after getting my car back, I noticed a small leak issue, but they got me back in right away, ordered the necessary part, and fixed it without any hassle. They even let me use a loaner car for a day, which I really appreciated.

Everyone at the front counter was friendly and helpful, even though they were clearly busy and short-staffed. I just moved here from out of state, and I?ll definitely be continuing to do business with them. Highly recommend!
