Comment : ⚠ Do NOT take your car here. Two days for an $1,800 alternator quote we got done elsewhere for $1,000—same new part. No options, no apology, no care. Lost all trust in this shop.

We’ve taken our 2012 truck to Qualtech Beecave for years, trusting Terry and the crew to help us keep it running affordably. But this last experience destroyed that trust.

We brought the truck in Monday morning. After two full days with no updates, Terry finally called with a $1,800 quote to replace the alternator—no explanation and no alternatives offered. We called around, gave our VIN to another reputable shop, and got the same job with a brand-new part quoted at $1,000.

When we told Terry we’d be picking the truck up, he suddenly mentioned He could check “rebuild options” and stated That would've only saved us a couple hundred bucks anyway. When we picked up the truck, they thencharged us $100 just to confirm it was the alternator, something we already suspected. When I called to explain why they lost our business, Terry defended himself, questioned the other shop’s quality (incorrectly), and never once apologized.

To make matters worse, they changed the oil even though we refused the work estimate and on top of that didn't bother to put the sticker back on our car. This was pure “take it or leave it” service, and it showed zero effort to save a loyal customer money.

Bottom line: Slow, overpriced, and dismissive. We’ve moved on, and I’d urge anyone who values honesty and customer care to do the same.

No recommendations for additional work! It was a pleasure to be served by Qualtech. I will spread the word !!!
