Comment : Where to start? From the beginning would be a good idea. I have had several issues with AAA Auto Service. 1. My Expedition needed new tires. Fine. Had AAA order them, and install. When I went to pick up the vehicle I notice a $200 charge for "tire insurance." When I questioned the line item I was told that I had agreed to the service. I had not. The service adviser then challenged my comment stating that I had signed the agreement. Yes, my initials were on the order, but at no time was I asked if I wanted "tire insurance" for new tires. I got into an argument with the service adviser when asking for a credit. Finally, he relented and a credit was issued. Point here: never, ever argue with a customer. 2. Took the Expedition in earlier this week for a state inspection actually believing that it would fail due to possibly needing new brake pads and rotors. Amazingly enough it passed. The next issue follows the inspection. 3. Even before taking the Expedition inspection I noticed a slight vibration through the steering wheel. This persisted even after the "inspection" by AAA Auto. So, I decided to take the vehicle to local shop to chase down the cause. Here are the results: a. all the wheels were out of balance. b. the lug nuts on one wheel were stripped on the outside so if I had a flat there would be no way for me to remove the lug nuts much less the tire. The folks at AAA Auto strike again. c. all the brake pads and rotors were toast. Therefore, they needed replacement. So why did the Expedition pass state inspection? Was AAA Auto hoping that I would notice increased vibration and return so they could do the brake work? I have no idea. Fortunately the work was done by a very reputable local shop. Bottom line: DO NOT EVER TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO AAA AUTO. EVER!! I certainly won't.

Comment : If you have expensive rims do not get any tire service done there, they have outdated equipment and damaged my rims to my truck back in December and have been giving me the run around about repairing them.

Comment : Agreed to 7:30am appointment time. Vehicle was taken in at 8:22am. When I asked for an explanation for the delay was told that the tech does not arrive until 8:15am. Asked why appointment was set up for 7:30 - answer "I don't control the online scheduling ". The appointment was made by phone with a direct call to the service center. No apology, no sense that it mattered -- no customer care here.

Comment : If you check the reviews for this business all the old reviews are good and the recent ones are not. This business was bought by AAA in the past year. Since then, they've lost some of their best technicians. Now the business runs not smoothly. They can never meet the time estimates they give you. I needed my brakes fixed, I made the appointment a week in advance. In the day of the appointment, while I was waiting for the repair, they told me they didn't have the necessary parts. They had to send someone to Leesburg to purchase the part. What was supposed to take a couple of hours took most of my day. Also their prices are expensive. I hope they can hire some competent technicians, and be more responsive to their customer needs in a timely fashion.

Comment : They can care less about what you need or want. This place needs major help in customer service. Its been a long time since I've seen crap customer service like what I experienced for a simple VA inspection. Asking for a inspection at 10am and being told the inspector is getting ready to take his lunch break. I replied what time does he take lunch. They replied 1pm. He is a very busy man. The shell station in purcellville did my inspection in 20 minutes. In there eyes, there running the show. Not you. There thoughts, you need us more than we need you. Unbelievable.

Comment : Very rude staff & front desk employees. Act as if they don't want to be there, and they don't want you there either... Then will overcharge you for simple services. Both AAA places in Purcellville used to have different owners--I would prefer the previous kind & friendly guys over these hillbillies!!!
