Comment : Well I have an update. Since writing my first review and saying I love this place, I've had a couple bad experiences. My Jeep had the death wobble. My wife said it had done it twice to her. It had never done it to me. They suggested some work and I paid them $1,500. When I got it back I couldn't drive it. It wobbled every time I hit a bump. I decided not to drive it all winter. It was covered in my driveway. I decided to take it back to them to see if they could finally fix it. They quoted me $8,700. No way I was paying them that after the first 1500 that made it worse.I took it to a Jeep dealer. Told him my problem and immediately he said with that model and year you need to replace the steering damper with an aftermarket damper strong enough to handle the modifications. He said whatever you do do not buy a stock damper. He also noticed the drag link was rusted. When I look back at the paperwork from ProTech they had replaced the damper with a stock damper and replace the Drag link that was now rusted. The Jeep mechanic said no wonder it got worse. He said you don't put a stock damper on a modified Jeep. Unbelievable. It took him less than 2 minutes to tell me that and he didn't charge me a penny. He even helped me look up an aftermarket damper and it cost about $200. So much for the $8,700 Protech wanted to charge me in order to guess what was wrong with my Jeep. The Jeep dealer said put some new tires on it change out the damper to an aftermarket product and change the rusted out drag link fix some of the lines that were too short after they lifted the Jeep and it should run great. Said it shouldn't cost me more than $1,000. Yes I should have taken it to a Jeep dealer the first time. I wouldn't have to replace the parts Protech put on and charged me $1,500 to make my Jeep undrivable.----- -------I have a new mechanic. It is hard to find someone you trust. Our car wouldn't start. After testing the electrical system they noticed another issue that could be causing the problem.They had the part on hand and fixed it. We got the bill and it was under $100.... What? Never in my life have I taken a car to a mechanic and it only cost me $80. Labor is usually over $100. They didn't repair things that weren't necessary to run up the bill. We will be back. Comment : Not happy at way bald man treated me I was told 175.00 just to flash my bcm then he calls me tells me 180.00 more then calls me again 120.00 more which was ok because my fiob was broke I told him what it was flash bcm I feel he just juiced me for the 180.00 I had the car scan by my son I told him that I told him all bout the car where bcm was in car he had to ask me twice about these things I'm disabled a vet I live on 737 .00 a month so u see why I'm up set yes my cars a piece but it's all I got the way he acted toward me when I drop the car off I would have took my car and left my advice u can't use a salesman doing your service. Comment : We usually have a wonderful experience here and the other maintenance was done fine which is why I did give a few stars. We Have been repeat customers for years. The last visit did not go well due to computer issues.
