Comment : We had an unfortunate series of circumstances after getting a car for our granddaughter and spent several hundred on self keep oil change, belts, filters and hoses. The engine, let's just say, expired. We towed to professional auto where Matt, Frank and the team presented options and we got a used engine and back running a week under schedule and were awesome to work with. They kept us updated and apprised of any new issues. It is what it is and they saw us through it. We are very appreciative of their efforts on our behalf. Thank you so much, one and all at professional auto.

Comment : Avoid This Shop at All Costs!

I got absolutely ripped off here. The whole experience was a disaster from start to finish.

I brought my car in because the shifter wouldn’t move left or right — only 3rd and 4th gear. They said they needed to pull the battery and battery box to check it, which cost $200 just to look underneath. Pricey, but fine — I went along.

They told me one of the shift linkage cables was broken and had to be replaced, but claimed the part could only be ordered from the dealer and would cost over $1,000 overnight. At that point, it was pretty obvious they didn’t want to do the job and were trying to price me out of it.

I asked if they could at least do a temporary fix so I could drive home — they said no. I live 200 miles away, so I had no choice but to risk the drive back.

When they pulled my car around, I paid my $200 and got the keys — the car wouldn’t even start. They forgot to reconnect the battery. On top of that, they didn’t even bother to reassemble the center console they took apart. That was strike two.

Strike three came later — when I picked up my son and found intake parts from my car sitting in the back seat. They literally didn’t reinstall them. I drove 200 miles in the rain without those parts, which could have soaked and ruined my air filter.

They just dumped my car back to me in pieces the second they realized I wasn’t going to let them overcharge me for the repair.

This place has zero integrity, zero attention to detail, and absolutely no respect for paying customers. I wouldn’t trust them to change windshield wipers.

Shame on you for running a business this way. Greenwood folks — stay far, far away.

Comment : Professional Automotive Review: Outstanding Service Recovery (Infiniti Q40)
?Overall Rating: ★★★★☆ (4.0/5 Stars)
?Summary:
While the initial repair on my Infiniti Q40 required a follow-up due to a rare, defective manufacturer part, Professional Automotive distinguished themselves through exceptional customer service, transparent communication, and solid warranty coverage. The team, specifically Frank and Brandon, ensured the issue was fully resolved, and my car is now running perfectly.
?Detailed Experience:
?Initial Problem & Diagnosis:
My Infiniti Q40 was experiencing a major issue: it was not shifting into 3rd gear. After having it towed to Professional Automotive, I spoke with Frank, who was extremely nice and professional. He quickly diagnosed the issue as a faulty transmission valve assembly. Given the positive reviews and the strong 12-month/12,000-mile warranty, I authorized the extensive repair.
?The Service Recovery:
The day after picking up the car following the first repair, I noticed the car was still lagging and not shifting properly. I immediately called and spoke with Brandon, who was also professional and advised me to bring the car back in right away.
?Upon the return visit, Frank explained they had discovered that the new transmission valve assembly they received from the manufacturer was defective. They were transparent about the component failure—a complex issue outside their control—and promptly ordered a replacement part.
?Final Outcome:
I received the call that my car was ready on a Monday, and they assured me everything was running well this time. I have been driving it since, and I am happy to report that the car is shifting smoothly, and the problem is fully resolved.
?Final Verdict:
?Dealing with a transmission issue, compounded by a defective part, is stressful, but the team at Professional Automotive turned a potential headache into a great service experience. They stood by their diagnosis, their work, and their warranty.
?While I am still slightly nervous due to the initial complication, their professionalism and commitment to fixing the problem correctly gives me confidence in their shop. I will follow up with a second review in 90 days to update on the long-term performance, but as of now, they have proven themselves to be a highly dependable and honest service provider
