Comment : My 23 year old daughter was driving from Orlando to Salt Lake City and was at a planned stop overnight in Slidell. Her car had been making knocking noises on the rear passenger side the night before. I called them from Salt Lake in the morning and talked to Shawn and he said he could get her right in. 10 minutes later she was there and they looked at the car right away, diagnosed the problem and fixed it at no charge and even refused payment when my daughter insisted. It's refreshing to see such honesty and integrity as he could have taken advantage and overcharged for unnecessary repairs. It's too bad I don't live in Louisiana or else they'd have a customer for life. Highly recommended.

Comment : I sent a complete , clean vehicle to Pro-Auto Repair for a transmission.After a 2 week wait , they brought out my car absolutely covered in dirt and birdshit , and the entire rear spoiler deck and 3rd brake light assembly completely missing from the vehicle.Shawn refuses to accept responsibility and liability for the damage done while in his care and was VERY rude and dismissive.I spent $6,400 at this shop and they did almost $1500 damage.He also informed me that they are not a car wash.NEVER EVER take your vehicle to Pro-Auto Repair in Slidell.As can be seen in other reviews on this company , the owner denies all complaints placed on his shop"s performance , even to the point of blaming his customers for his unethical and poor performance and attitude.I sent a complete , clean vehicle to Pro-Auto Repair for a transmission.After a 2 week wait , they brought out my car absolutely covered in dirt and More

Comment : Second time in. First was with my mother's car. She had gotten in an accident and the body shop that fixed had to replace one of the CV axles. The transmission was leaking and they sent us to a transmission shop that told us we needed to replace the entire transmission. Went to pro auto for a second opinion. They told us a leaking seal. Fraction of the price and had us back on the road the next day. This time I had changed out all the front suspension myself on my mustang. I had a rattle in the front end and couldn't track it down. I hate to bring my mistakes to someone else but I was out of ideas. Had a bunch of bolts that weren't torqued down enough. They had it diagnosed and fixed for me within 2 hours of dropping it off. Comment : I will never go to anyone else ever again. I've been to different places and always got the runaround. Shawn at professional auto engines and transmissions has been able to accomplish what several other mechanics could not and does an excellent job.
