Comment : Stephani, shalen and The mechanic Kurt were all very kind and helpful as I stressed about my vehicle. They fixed me up and had me squared away within just a couple of hours and they have the cheapest labor around. Thank you so much!

Comment : Friendly customer services and great mechanic. Asked to check all the issues I've had with my car and got them addressed. My repair was quick and I had my car back by the end of the day after dropping it off for struts in the morning.

Comment : I had an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience with Precision Tune Auto Care in Yukon. What started out as a straightforward repair in early June turned into a stressful, and poorly communicated mess that dragged on for weeks.

From the beginning, I was told that the work would not take more than a week and that everything could be done in-house. The estimate started around $1,300. By the time everything was said and done, we were charged over $4,000.

Wrong parts were ordered, staff didn’t seem knowledgeable in ordering the correct parts for the car. Even though they should have been able to pull it up with the VIN.

Once I picked up my car I knew I was going to have to drop it back off once a brake module came in. I got a call on a Thursday that the part was in and I could bring my car up there. This is at 3 o’clock I asked how long they would need my car for they said 3 to 4 hours I drove up there dropped my car off. They verified that they probably would not be able to get to it that day, but they would get to it on Friday and it would be ready after. At 2 o’clock that Friday I called the shop to see if my car was ready. That’s when I was informed that I would not be able to pick up my car until Monday because even though they got the part in, they didn’t know that it needed to be programmed and their programmer was off And nobody would be able to do it until Monday. Now, if I would have known this while my car was still drivable, I would’ve not dropped it off Until I found transportation for me to make it back-and-forth to where I needed to be. When I expressed my frustration, the response I got was “well you can come get it and drive it if you want” that was a slap in the face seeing as we had already spent over $4000 and now you’re telling me I can just come pick up my car since I was frustrated that once again, I was told wrong information. Then I get hit with that the programming will be $300 and that wasn’t included in the quote even though it was verified that all programming was in the quote. Me knowing they said programming was in the price when we spoke about it I said well that’s going to be a issue cause we were told it was. And I quote “well I’ll just have to eat it” In my opinion they didn’t have to eat a dime.

On top of that, while my car was in their possession, it looked like someone had attempted to break into it. I contacted the shop immediately, and the response was, “your car was never left out of the bay.” I asked for them to review the security footage and was told that only Marty could review it, but he was “out of the country.” This was on June 18, and as of today, I’ve still received no follow-up regarding that footage. It leaves me wondering was this really a break-in, or did someone at the shop accidentally lock my keys inside and they messed up my door themselves. Now I get to find a body shop to adjust my door which means more money out of our pocket.

Overall, this shop showed a complete lack of professionalism, communication, and accountability. Between the false timelines, skyrocketing costs, misleading information, and refusal to return calls, I absolutely cannot recommend Precision Tune Yukon. I walked away feeling taken advantage of and deeply unsettled.
