Comment : I needed my brakes checked and they were able to get me in the next day and replace my brakes same day. They were fast and John explained everything to me so I could understand what needed to be done. Price was pretty decent too. I appreciate him taking extra time to check out other issues on my car as well. Thanks for everything!

Comment : Got my car back from Precision this afternoon. Its annual checkup, oil, lube, a little bulb replaced, and a complete running inspection, folowed by a test drive. Good for another year of city driving. Good folks, too--John, Jock and their team. I've been bringing my cars to Precision for almost 30 years, as my dad did to Joe Rodriguez in the 70s. I know what to expect--service that is fair, knowledgeable and thorough. Friendly, too. And patient. John always has time to explain..

Comment : I've been bringing my Honda Civic Hybrid to Precision Auto Body for years, and I couldn't be happier with the service. It's such a relief to have a reliable mechanic you can truly trust. They genuinely care about their customers, always take the time to explain what's needed, and consistently provide honest, timely, high-quality work at fair prices. Comment : I have been taking my cars to John and his family at Precision Auto Repair for over twenty years! He has serviced my Honda Accord, Civic, CRV and Pilot! He always prepares us for the routine maintenance that needs to happen so we can plan financially. He gets us in within a week of calling to make an appointment, or sooner if needed. He not only maintains the car, but asks about our kids and family. I feel so safe with our vehicles in John's hands. He is so kind, calm, and completely trustworthy. He goes above and beyond - he even was able to get an AirPod under one of the back seat that one of my teenagers thought was lost! John is the absolute best!

Comment : Couldn't wait to get home to write this review. We've known John and his late father, Joe, for twenty years now and have trusted their family business to work on our family's cars - four different cars over the years! Integrity around diagnostics and pricing, using quality parts, and doing competent work are just table stakes when dealing with auto mechanics and we've had experiences with less scrupulous shops and incompetent dealerships. A few of the things we especially appreciate about John and the work done by Precision: 1) superior communication - John communicates via text (our preference) what work the car needs and the estimate for the work and the timeframe (he includes photos documenting the recommended work), and gives progress reports/status updates, 2) they do not try to push work on you that isn't needed, and 3) when they tell you the car will be ready, it's ready. A memorable experience that made us a lifetime customer (even when we moved out of the neighborhood to a different part of town) was when performing work on an older vehicle (MkII GTI), he had to pull the instrument cluster and one of the connectors to a gauge broke due to old age. John sent someone to find a replacement cluster gauge and installed it at no cost to us so that he could return the car in the condition it was in when he took it in. Totally above and beyond and backs up the integrity and service other shops only advertise! We're thankful that Precision Auto continues to honor Joe's legacy by providing affordable AND quality service to our community. Bonus points for being located in NOPA with lots of neighborhood shops, cafes, and restaurants within walking distance.

Comment : I can't say enough good things about this shop. I came in with a nail in my tire, and they plugged it right away-- which was incredibly appreciated. More importantly, they've always taken great care of my elderly father and help him with all of his car needs. Everyone there is patient, honest, and very kind to him, which means a lot to our family. Carlos especially has been extremely helpful every time we've been there. It's rare to find people who are both skilled and genuinely caring. Highly recommend this place if you want trustworthy service and good people.

Comment : Do not give these people business, I had 4 subs and a box installed, the box had a small air leak so I brought it back to get it fixed/looked at, they taped the air leak but in the process of removing my subs they dropped one and cracked it, then turned down my amp so I wouldn?t notice it rattling right away. I called the store and they just denied it, and told the young guy to tell the owner or manager to contact me and was left dry. Unprofessional and I?d just simply like the damaged you caused to be replaced, Precision you know this install and have my number, call me to replace the sub and I?ll remove the post.

Comment : Came to Precision Car Audio from a recommendation from a friend. So glad I did. Met with Tyler and he showed me some equipment (amp, speaker box, etc) for my son?s Toyota Tacoma. Just wanted to add some extra bass while keeping stock stereo without breaking the bank. Tyler exceeded my expectations with keeping me within budget and got some great sound for my son?s truck. Did install in less than 2 hours and looks as good as stock. Awesome job.
