Comment : From the moment AAA towed me in, we were greeted by Rob Alvarado, Svc. Advisor, he helped my friend down from the tow truck. We went inside and I mentioned that my father had been in the business years ago. Long story short, Rob, I and Seth the mechanic were all related by circumstance. Rob kept me informed step by step and I have to say, I could not have been more blessed, from start to finish. God had his hand on this whole situation. My car is better than it ever was and I have an amazing service provider that I can trust! I thank you all from the bottom of my heart!

To top it off, when I went to go pickup it up, I went to my car in their lot (without my key, they had it) and went to open the door to get some things out of my car (forgetting that I didn't have my key) and it turned out that my car had just been unlocked in their parking lot for who knows how long WITH the key still in the ignition, causing the battery to die...

What was strange though is that the two individuals who I talked with at the shop were extremely nice, seemed well informed, and gave me updates about the vehicle as it was evaluated. They seemed like they were doing a genuinely decent job, short of the quotes that I was given (which may have come from a finance department, I'm unsure. They either came up with the quotes or just relayed them to me.)

I don't know if the individuals who were working on my car were new employees, incompetent, or both, but after seeing how they treated my car and the absolutely insane quotes that they gave me, I'd sooner rather take it to the homeless guy that hangs out at the O'Reilly's around the corner for work on it than come here again.'>

Comment : Went to get my car checked out after it was making some odd noises, ended up getting a quote for parts and labor of ~14k to fix it, which was still going to use very used parts with zero warranty. Took it to get a second opinion and was able to get the exact same work done WITH OEM, never used parts AND a warranty for 7.5k.
Also, when I got my car back from them they had managed to mar significant portions of the leather and cloth in my interior with what looks like flat tip screwdrivers and pliers, and broke my shifter assembly, all while trying to claim that the car arrived like that.
I had driven the car the day previous, I can confidently say the internals of my shifter were not sheared in half from someone torqueing the shift knob as hard as they could and ruining the leather on it when I was driving it. Going off of the metal tooth marks on the outside and the damage inside, It's extremely clear that someone couldn't figure out how to operate the shifter so they used a tool of some kind to try to tighten it to the point of where they sheared the plastic internals. After taking it to two other mechanics and letting them independently investigate it, they both came to the same conclusion without me ever saying the idea out loud. Take it how you will.

Comment : My car's passenger side floor well was wet. I had been told it was most likely the heater core, around $2K. Unfortunately, the mechanic I typically take my car to had received a negative review in the prior weeks. I'm sure many of you have experienced that dreaded feeling. After looking at google reviews for an hour, decided to stop by Precision Automotive. I met Rob and after describing the issue, mentioned the heater core but then said it could be the drains. He invited me to have a cup of coffee, a seat there in the waiting room, and to keep an eye for dripping water after they lifted the car. Sure enough, water dripped. The technician removed the rubber caps that were causing condensate to accumulate and spill into the cabin. Rob, thank you for being honest. Even though you can't control what is going on with cars, the issue was simple to fix, and you didn't add any unnecessary repair costs. I appreciate the heads up on the valve cover and rear coupling. I'll be back for the regular maintenance on these and other items. To the readers, hope my review will help you see this business is top-notch.

Thanks

Comment : In the late afternoon on a Sunday, my motorcycle got a flat tire at the foot of the Grapevine headed home from a road trip. Scott was the ONLY tow truck driver in the area that did not decline AAAs request for a tow, and he is my hero! He was friendly and efficient through the entire process of loading. I felt confident my bike was in good hands, and am SO thankful for his help getting my bike home safe.

Comment : I know nothing about cars. So when it comes to finding an honest and reliable auto shop that specializes in German vehicles, I'm all in. A few years ago I went on Yelp to find an alternative to BMW's shop and I've received amazing customer service ever since. Recently, I needed to have my brake fluid changed. We opted to come to Precision and they were super reasonable and relatively quick. The service is friendly and straightforward. What really made them stand out was the service I received from Seth. The following day I received an error message on my console. I called Precision and asked if it had anything to do with the brake fluid change from the previous day. They immediately took me in, used their machine to read my computer and tested out the vehicle to try and identify the issue. Of course, the error message disappeared by the time I got to the shop and we weren't able to pinpoint the issue. But I did appreciate their accomodation and thorough explanation of the potential problems. If you have any kind of German vehicle, Porsche, BMW, Mercedes - new or old - definitely consider coming to Precision!

Comment : The service I've received at Precision Automotive on multiple occasions the past 12 months has been outstanding!Rob and the other staff members have been courteous, honest, and they are my go-to for anything involving maintenance/repairs on my BMW.I feel relieved knowing that there is a local, trustworthy establishment that I can rely on to professionally handle any issues that I, myself, am unable or unwilling to handle (I do a lot of DIY on my E46 and my Miata).Speaking from my experience--if you have a BMW, don't hesitate to reach out to them for service. I would trust them for other European car brands, as well.Support awesome local, small businesses like Precision!
