Comment : Was given an estimate for over $1000 for brakes. For such a price and an old car I asked if they thought it was worth putting in so much money or if I should just buy a new one. They took my money. 2 days later my dash board was lit up. I asked them to check it out. They asked for another $180 to just look at the car. I brought it across the street and gave them $150 for the same diagnostics and they listened to me as a customer and driver. They told me not to put anymore money into the car. So here I am over 1300 down and in need of a new car. I feel incredibly stupid for trusting Portland automotive to listen to me as a customer. They clearly either don't know how to correctly assess a cars damage or they do know and take peoples money anyway.
1.) Hometown garage is cheaper
2.) Hometown garage actually listens to the customers!
Very disappointing! I had recommended them highly before this.

Comment : Arranged an emissions test. Talked to the advisors for a few minutes, sat in waiting room for 7 minutes and
my vehicle was done. Couldn't have gone any smoother. Great experience.
