Comment : Guard your wallet with these guys... Asked for an evaluation of the drive-shaft failure on my SUV, which had been repaired here just two months earlier. They quoted an amount approaching $1100 (mind you, there was a warranty on the work they did and the work that failed). Their evaluation mentioned a failure of this bearing and that support, etc. -- not once mentioning how my warranty would factor into the re-repair. I asked if they could replace the drive-shaft with a used part. Yes... and they found a used part for only $700??? With labor it would cost me $1400 (for a used part on a warranty repair)??? I said 'no'. Next day, ordered a new drive-shaft (online) for $350 and installed it myself in less than two hours. Note: I do not object to a 'reasonable markup for parts and labor. But I don't like making someone's 'Boat Payment' while they ignore their own part in the problem. (P.S. I chose not to push on the warranty issue... some facilities are just not worth the energy; and now, with one less customer.)
