Comment : Update to a previous review. I called and spoke with Kurt this morning for almost an hour and had a very pleasant conversation together. We have had several vehicles serviced with them and they have always done good work and seem to be upfront and honest which is nice to know.There will always be competitive shops and you have to be able to trust the people working on your vehicles and hopefully they will work with you in return.I hardly write reviews but wanted to express an honest opinion.Up until now, I have been using Performane Automotive for years. The work seems to be good but their prices are higher than most.Recently I called and spoke with Kurt about getting a tune up, transmission service and brakes done. I was quoted just over $2k for everything, which was $800 more than a few other shops I called.When I asked Kurt about the prices and stated that other places are cheaper, he said he couldn't match their prices. The disappointing part is that I have brought several of my vehicles to them and also referred many people.Everyone knows that I am meticulous with my vehicles and picky as to who I allow to service them. It's sad they would rather loose a great customer versus trying to keep my business and not work with me on being more price competitive.Anyway, the search for a new mechanic is still ongoing and seems like more businesses today just continue to raise their prices and also penalize loyal customers.Update to a previous review.
