Comment : PAB worked on my Lucid Air Dream twice. Both times, their work was meticulous, and communication was very good. Most importantly, they stand by their work. When I told them about a problem I had with one area they painted, they immediately took responsibility, and told me the problem would be fixed under warranty. I didn?t even have to ask. Then, they told me they would arrange for a loaner, either from Lucid or themselves.

Comment : ??Before decide to send your ?Tesla? with this shop.
This has been most painfully excruciating complicated process of fixing yet experienced. (I worked with Tesla collision 2 years back and another auto shop on a separate repair last year and first time this happened)

My car was a Tesla model 3 so I can?t speak for other cars, I sent in Feb 17th for a side dent and it took 2 full months and weekly calls from me to eventually get it back in April 14th two month later.

This shop has to go back and forth 3-4 times with car insurance company of mine because not able to agree on an exact estimate of fixing in the first and second rounds. The shop was not able to provide accurate timeline nor cost estimates. I was told the explanation that they cannot foreseen the cost ahead of time,
If I can use the metaphor of a pastry maker saying they cannot foreseen how much yeast to add to the cake to create a rise, and have to open the oven 4 times in the baking process cause the cake will be keep changing shape for them to track? either way it proves a lack of logic if no accurate estimates can be given.

When confronted and asked about the lack of updates to the customer (I would assume giving client an update every 2 weeks is a reasonable ask) I was told they have large case loads and don?t have time to do that. Thus I wonder the capacity or the understaffed situation at the store in providing good customer services. It is in general impossible to know what?s going on and which step of the process is at, it felt like pulling teeth to get an update at times and you just have to keep calling them all the time. Even with that, I was not given a close to accurate estimate on timeline which is something reasonable to ask after car being stagnated for 40+ days.
I was told it was cause by insurance dispute with insurance company. I wonder why it is happening so much for this shop. Reading other reviews I m not the only one feeling frustrated on this issue. And I regret not taking those reviews and reading it seriously before I sent my car in.

The 2 month for a dent in the picture as shown is beyond reasonable. The car rental would have sky rocketed out of pocket except I chose a month of inconvenience of commute with public transit which becomes a waste of time too.

A lesson learned. I would not come back or send my car here in future repairs given the hassle and lack of accurate communication.

Comment : I had some challenges navigating a repair through my insurance and reached out to Pacific Auto Body for help. I ended up speaking with Caitlin Boen, who truly went above and beyond to assist me?even though she didn?t have to get involved. She stepped in, took the time to understand the situation, and ultimately helped get everything resolved.

Caitlin is one of those genuinely kind, warm-hearted people who makes a real difference. Pacific Auto Body is lucky to have someone like her?she made a stressful situation so much easier. Highly appreciate the support and care!

Comment : Excellent customer service. I like that they have a live person answering the phone rather than going to VM. Pleasant waiting room as well.

Comment : Nick Raser and the team are magicians. They transformed my car back to it?s original state after the accident. There?s a reason why everyone says Pacific is the best in town. Because it?s true. Thank U!

Comment : I?m leaving this review after repeated attempts to get a straight answer. I?ve called Pacific Auto Body since Saturday, trying to get an update on my car. Saturday, they said the person handling it was out sick. No one called me back. Monday, I called again?same promise, no follow-up. I called Tuesday morning, they said they?d call me back?by Tuesday at 5 p.m., I called again, still nothing. No one?s accountable, no one follows through.

The only communication I?ve received is when they?ve been charging my insurance company for supplemental damages that were found, and I was cc?d in that email. I?m not speaking for the quality of the work since I haven?t received my car yet?that?s a whole other situation.

I?ve dealt with other body shops over the years, and this is the worst communication I?ve experienced. I was sent here by my Mercedes dealership?frankly, unacceptable.

I don?t want any further updates on my car. I just want a call when it?s completed so I can pay and pick it up.

Comment : Just stay away from this place! The whole process was an absolute nightmare! The other negative reviews are pretty spot on so I won?t dwell. Wish I had listened.

Comment : Pacific Auto Body did a great job getting my 2024 Model 3 back in order after an unfortunate incident involving a work truck and my parked car. Luckily the driver left a note and the entire repair was paid for by their insurance. Johanna at Pacific Auto Body was great to work with. She coordinated with insurance to make sure everything was covered and kept me updated at every step. She even went as far as getting me checked back in after repairs were completed to address some unevenness in the hood. Total repair time after dropping off my car was just over a month to fix hood, front bumper, left headlight, and left front quarter panel. About a week of that time was just waiting for insurance approval so I?d say a pretty quick turnaround especially for a Tesla.

Really hope I don?t have to come back for a long while but glad to know they are such a great option.
