Comment : I have been bringing my cars to Otto Service for 18 years. After having many different (poor) experiences with various dealers and auto shops around KC, I was so thankful to have had a friend recommend Otto to me. Now I share their name with everyone. Andrew and his crew are honest and trustworthy. The shop has highly qualified mechanics and managers and I have always been pleased with their recommendations and workmanship. They have saved me so much money in unnecessary repairs/replacements that were recommended by dealers. They will shoot straight with you about what is needed vs what can be delayed. They have helped me keep my Acura MDX, Honda Accord, Toyota Highlander and Toyota Camry cars running for years and years!

Comment : Otto Service got my car right in after having it towed and identified the issue same day. It was NOT a blown head gasket as the Honda dealer in St. Joseph had stated and quoted. They replaced the radiator and fixed the issue along with some other needed maintenance at 1/2 the price quote from the dealer. I'll definitely be bringing my 2006 Honda CRV with 111,000 miles back to Otto's for service in the future.Otto Service got my car right in after having it towed and identified the issue same day. Comment : They offer a professional level of service at a price that is lower than the dealership however they will make up problems with your car in order to upsell you.I took my Acura RDX here to have the trans fluid changed, and they told me I was due for timing belt and that the oil pump was leaking. Car was already off the lift so they couldn't show me.Well the timing belt was due, but the oil pump problem was fabricated. About $400 in 'extras'.They stay slammed so I don't think they have a care, and the service is nice they send me notes at Christmas!

Comment : Although I don't live in KC, this auto shop is my preference. This place has taken care of my family's cars for 20+ years. Anything I need done, that isn't urgent, I wait until I am in town and bring the car to Otto.
